Boss Course Revision Guideline Changes
Hello, This is EZ2ON Team.
As a result of reviewing many players' play records and feedback while operating the course mode, we previously announced changes related to the difficulty settings of the 'boss' category in the course mode revision plan during the official broadcast .
We intended to reflect this content from the LEVEL : ALPHA course, but after the update, based on the production team's review and reflecting the requests of players who wanted a more intuitive revision plan, we have adjusted the revision guidelines as follows to allow players to infer the nature of the course through the boss course difficulty.

The revision plan was prepared to redefine higher-difficulty bosses, and THE 7 course follows these revision guidelines.
When the boss course revision plan is applied to all courses in the future, the following difficulty adjustments are expected:
Separate from the difficulty revision, we are aware of the feedback on the AC (All Combo) challenge that many players have suggested, and we are reviewing it to prepare a revision plan. However, we are approaching this cautiously regarding resetting existing course scores.

※ Balance: This refers to detailed judgment settings and gauge increase/decrease amounts.
This is adjusted considering each course's concept, gimmicks, BPM-based beat intervals, etc., and is applied to all boss-level courses in EZ2ON.
[h2]Characteristics by Difficulty[/h2]
- HD: This is the baseline difficulty for boss planning. The KOOL judgment criteria are the same as in STANDARD mode, but balance adjustments make the play feel stricter than STANDARD.
- NM: This is a difficulty where boss gimmicks are adjusted to be easier to play compared to HD. While balance settings are in place, it's a course that can generally be challenged with STANDARD mode playing sensibilities.
- EX: While patterns are the same as HD or only some gimmicks become more difficult, the KOOL judgment criteria and balance settings become significantly more difficult compared to HD. (However, bosses with complicated patterns that fall into the challenge realm are set as CHALLENGE difficulty.)
- EZ: This is a difficulty where patterns are the same as NM or only some gimmicks are different, and the KOOL judgment criteria are easier than STANDARD.
