Weโ€™ve just rolled out the Build 2.0.17624.0.334 And it brings a bunch of important fixes for both local co-op and the online beta. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ.

[h2]๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Bug Fixes[/h2]:
  • Save slots can now be deleted correctly without issues. โœ…
  • The button to confirm the unlock screen of the Healing Waters upgrade no longer accidentally triggers the purchase of another upgrade.
  • Fixed an exploit where players could repeatedly buy items in in-run shops if they quickly closed the shop screen. ๐Ÿ’ธ
  • The Simplified Chinese language option can now be selected correctly when using a gamepad.
  • Bullets and projectile effects no longer persist when moving to a new room.
  • Fixed an issue where the Japanese text for the Co-op option would wrap into two lines and get cut off. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ


[h2]โœจ Quality of Life Changes:[/h2]
  • Doraditos found after clearing a room (e.g., from breaking props) will now fly directly to the player, making collection easier.
  • Players can now deal damage to bosses immediately after the introduction screen ends. ๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ
  • The first time players enter an Event Room, it will always be an Axolittle room.




[h2]๐ŸงŠ Patch Notes for Online Beta Build [ Patch #5 ]:[/h2]
Beta Build: v2.0.17652.337
  • The aiming reticle from Player 1 now synchronizes correctly on Player 2's screen when using mouse ๐Ÿ–ฑ๏ธ and keyboard.
  • Aiming reticles are now properly synced between players, even if they are using different screen resolutions๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ.
  • Weapons dropped from weapon chests, Wishing Fountain, and King Leech are no longer duplicated.
  • Drops from Wishing Fountain and King Leech ๐Ÿ‘‘ are now synchronized correctly between both players.
  • All ingredients gathered during a run are now added properly to the cooking pot ๐Ÿฒ when returning to the hub.
  • Resolved an issue where players could get soft-locked by a black screen after both died in a run.
  • Fish & Chipzs' attack patterns are now synchronized correctly between players ๐ŸŸ.
  • Item chests ๐ŸŽ can no longer be opened twice by Player 1.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Bug Fixes:
  • Items now work correctly when using the C'thulotl skin.
  • Explosions from the Boony Rounds item now apply as intended.
  • Removed a discarded weapon that was accidentally loaded into Daily Runs.
  • Fixed an issue with Feral and Astronaut skins carrying over their passives to Daily Runs; skin effects now update properly per Daily Run setup.
  • Rockets (from items and weapons) now deal damage to bosses as intended.
  • Restarting during a boss fight no longer causes a soft lock.
  • Using the C'thulotl skin and obtaining the Robo Hand item no longer grants additional items in each new room.
  • Fixed soft lock issue where players with only 1 HP who bought the Casino Chip item would die instantly. (The player still dies, but now won't be softlocked)
  • Ceremony item effect now works as expected when the player has only 1 HP.
  • Danmaku item no longer grants invincibility if the player has only 1 HP.

  • [Local Co-op] Dashing through a pond no longer allows the other player to walk through it.
  • [Local Co-op] Poison status no longer persists if a player dies with it and is revived in the Transition Room.
  • [Local Co-op] Nugget count now updates correctly in the hub when Player 2 makes a purchase from the Droppin Doggo.
  • [Local Co-op] Happiness count now updates immediately when Player 2 makes a purchase in the Blisstaker shop.




[h2]๐ŸงŠ Patch Notes for Online Beta Build [ Patch #4 ]:[/h2]
Beta Build: v2.0.17572.0.329
  • Accept and Back buttons on the join session pop-up now work correctly when using a gamepad.
  • Boss bomb projectiles are now properly synchronized between players.
  • Pressing ESC to close a UI as Player 2 no longer triggers the Pause menu unintentionally.
  • Fixed issue where Player 2 opening a chest wouldnโ€™t register for Player 1, allowing it to be opened again.
  • Nugget counts are now correctly synchronized between Player 1 and Player 2.
  • Waiting pop-up no longer remains permanently after opening a boss chest, preventing a soft lock.
  • Game settings now apply to both players, not just Player 1.
  • Dashing through a pond no longer allows the other player to walk through it.
  • Poison status no longer persists after death and revival in the Transition Room.
  • Player 2 can now re-roll items in the Blacksmith shop.
  • Permanent upgrades from the Blisstaker shop now correctly apply to Player 2.
  • Restarting a run no longer results in a black screen for players.
  • Player 2 no longer encounters a black screen when returning to the hub after both players die.
  • Revive bar progress is now synchronized between players.
  • Both players now see the visual feedback when interacting with King Leech.
  • Fixed issue where interacting with King Leech would cause a duplicated weapon drop for Player 2.

  • Axolotl no longer hides behind walls in the Pond Pincer room.
  • Visual issues with lava in the Blacksmith biome have been resolved.
  • Wall collider issues in Snow Biome shop are fixed.
  • Flying and hovering enemies now take damage from Axolotl floor hazards but not biome floor hazards.
  • Chests now have a falling SFX in the tutorial.
  • Spawned enemies now have sound effects in the tutorial section.
  • Supreme Collector description in Blisstakerโ€™s Shop display in the correct language.
  • โ€œRestockโ€ is now translated correctly in Catalan in the item shop.
  • Boom Bow now triggers its explosion effect as expected.
  • Black Tea fountain provides consistent HP recovery in both Axolotl and Axolittle modes.
  • Entering the C'thulotl room no longer triggers a black screen if you pause the game while the room is loading.
  • Weapon damage applies correctly in the C'thulotl room.
  • Skip executions setting is now saved and remembered.
  • Damage from "Hammerhead" and "BoomBow" upgrades is now correctly applied.
  • HUD/UI scales properly across all screen resolutions.
  • Artifacts in black borders on non-16:9 screens have been resolved.
  • "Delete file" pop-up now shows clear buttons instead of text prompts.
  • Casino chip functions as expected.
  • Casino chip no longer works on Blacksmith since it's not a shop.
  • Players skipping the tutorial or starting a new game in Co-Op now receive 10 nuggets.
  • [Local Co-op] Final boss displays the Win screen instead of the "Oopsie" screen.

  • Using the Healing ability at full health no longer deals damage.
  • Fixed issue when revived, the player is 1 Hp but visually is full health.
  • Resolved black screen issue for Player 2 after finishing, abandoning, or dying.
  • Partially fixed the hardblock when players die in a run the report screen doesn't show up and must close the game.
  • Visual bug with King Leech and weapon duplication issue have been fixed.
  • Players starting a new game now receive 10 nuggets.
  • Player 2โ€™s bullets no longer visually disappear during reloading.
  • Visual discrepancies with bullets have been resolved.
  • Cโ€™hutulotlโ€™s 1st phase tentacle and donut attacks are now properly synced.
  • Fixed issue where healing while dead made players non-revivable.
  • Resolved discrepancies when Player 2 dies while using the snack ability to heal.
  • Fixed issue when having a quest progression pop-up and Player 2 pauses the game, Player 1 will be softlocked.
  • Fixed issue when Player 1 dashes, Player 2 was able to walk through some colliders.
  • Poison Status no longer stays after reviving a poisoned player.
  • Fixed issue where Player 2 was duplicated after abandoning a run.
  • Fixed issue where Player 2 was duplicated, and Player 1 is softlocked after respawning.

    • Sync Issues with the Wish Fountain (Partially Fixed)

Hi everyone,

We've just rolled out Patch v2.0.17125.0.181, And it brings a bunch of important fixes for both local co-op and the online beta. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ.
The easiest way to force steam to update is to exit fully the steam client and launching it again.

  • Fixed the bug where the C'hutulotl boss fight wouldnโ€™t start ๐Ÿฆ‘
  • Game no longer crashes after re-rolling items in run shops

  • Game progression (unlocking shops in the hub) now works as expected
  • Peek-a-peek (puffefish) enemy now dies properly, even if a player dies in the same room

  • Revived players now return with their Base HP, not max HP ๐Ÿฉน
