[p]Hello Inspectors,[/p][p][/p][p]To conclude this series on new lighting environments, here is a quick preview of our twilight setting.[/p][p][/p][p]I only spent a few hours exploring this subconscious, but this mental journey exhausted me more than a real hike. I spent too much time working on this Inspector program, and the few days in the isolation room only increased my already existing tension.[/p][p]I should take a break, but the light of this sunset, with its purple reflections and surreal moon rising above the temple, captivates me.[/p][p]Despite the sound of the stream, I hear the murmur of an approaching sentinel. I cautiously move away, and once out of range, it forgets about me, leaving me free to lose myself in the landscape.[/p]

[p]Hello Inspectors,[/p][p]It seems you enjoyed the new lighting atmospheres we prepared for you. Today, we’re unveiling a new scene with a magnificent sunrise. We hope you like it as much as the previous one.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]These are my first steps in this universe. After a few days spent in the isolation chamber – a necessary precaution for any Inspector – I’m thrilled to be walking and breathing in the fresh air, even if it’s all just a dreamlike landscape created by my patient’s mind.[/p][p]My heart beats faster. This journey marks the beginning of a new era. If I can manage to wake this patient from their coma, the possibilities could be endless.[/p][p]The warm light of the dawn makes me forget the icy bite of the snow on my feet. I spot a tower on a hill ahead of me, surrounded by a luminous halo that urges me to explore it.[/p][p]I begin my ascent of the hill at a leisurely pace.[/p]

[p]Hello Inspectors,[/p][p][/p][p]While replaying Firewatch, I realized just how much changes in lighting shape the atmosphere and the scenery of a game. We’ve therefore decided to create different lighting moods, currently based on four modes: dawn, day, dusk, and night.[/p][p]It’s still a work in progress, but we wanted to share one of these atmospheres with you.[/p][p][/p][p]As you approach the summit, your breath nearly falters. Not from exhaustion — such a thing has no place here. The northern lights spill across the sky, and a violet moon rising on the horizon strikes a dazzling contrast against them.[/p][p]You step toward the warm glow of a campfire. In the frozen beauty of this night, each footfall crunches in the snow with a strangely satisfying sound — like a thousand tiny bubbles bursting beneath your feet.
Far below, the hum of a sentinel drifts upward, but at this distance its drone is almost soothing.[/p][p]For a moment, you forget why you are here. You could sit down, lose yourself in the spectacle for hours, and let reality fade away.[/p][p]You linger by the fire for long minutes, your eyes entranced by the shimmering curtain of auroras above, before continuing on your way.[/p]

[p]Hello Inspectors,[/p][p][/p][p]Today, we're going to discover a little of The Inspector's lore with the sentinels. These organisms, which protect the subconscious of your patients, patrol (or wander?) the coma in search of intruders. Avoid the areas where they are located, because if they detect you, they will move towards you to dissuade you from further exploration.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Don't worry, however, if you lack reflexes or are allergic to nervous gameplay. The Inspector remains a dreamlike, relaxing adventure. There's no "Game Over" or adrenaline rush (as it was sometimes the case in Breaking Lockdown and Wild Dose).[/p][p]Take a deep breath, Inspectors, and enjoy your escapade into the subconscious![/p]
