Nominate Intravenous for the 'Labor of Love' Steam award!
Hey folks!
The year 2022 will be over soon, and Intravenous will almost be a year and a half old by the end of it.
The release of the game has been a very turbulent time for me - both in terms of content updates and what was going on in my life. Still, I tried to update the game as often as possible - taking player feedback into consideration and squashing as many bugs as people would report.
Last year was an incredibly busy time for me - so I forgot to make a community post like this altogether. A bummer, but this year's different.
Very soon I will be releasing yet another major update for Intravenous - Version 1.4.0. It will add new gadgets, improve various aspects of the game's visuals, and several gameplay-related things as well - definitely be on the lookout for the update's release, as it'd be a great time to replay the game... or play it for the first time, if you catch my drift!

Despite working on the second game, I am also working on improving the first one as well. Multiple improvements, optimizations, and bugfixes that were implemented in recent patches, as well as the upcoming game version 1.4.0, are a direct result of work on the second game - these are feature back-ports I thought would be welcome improvements for the first game without drastically changing the core gameplay. :)
I could do what most developers do and simply not back-port any improvements from the second game at all, to increase the "wow" factor for the sequel, but, in my opinion, while that makes for good business, it's not a good attitude. I believe the first game deserves these improvements - they make the game better. And as far as I'm concerned, as long as people buy and play the game, they deserve to get these improvements, as it makes for a better gameplay experience for everyone.
For these reasons I'd like to ask you folks to nominate Intravenous in the 'Labor of Love' category of Steam Awards 2022. I know there are plenty of other games to nominate, but just remember that Intravenous is one of said games. :)
Thanks for reading, hope you're still enjoying the game!
Sincerely,
Roman Glebenkov
