Game patch 1.0.7

Hey folks!

This patch mainly focuses on responding to player feedback for the game, and addresses a couple of points raised by the community.

Version 1.0.7:
- enemy FOV reduced to 160 degrees (was 170)
- increased footstep sound volume (noise levels remain unchanged, don't worry!), for better audio feedback for the player
- tweaked the player gear sound cutoff values, so that they play at lower noise levels, to better let the player know that their gear is making a lot of noise
- adjusted suppressed/quiet weapon noise travel power - they're not whisper quiet, but they're going to be a lot less audible if fired in an enclosed area (VP9 users rejoice!):
- Tranq Rifle and Tazer - huge reduction
- VP9 - large reduction
- MK23 - large reduction
- P320 - moderate reduction

- fixed being able to get stuck in 1 spot on the level "'Luxus' Incorporated"
- fixed "Out of Their Misery" being unlocked instead of "Whodunit?" in certain cases

What's Next? #1

Hey everyone!

Now that the game's out, I wanted to take the time to talk about what's in store for the game update-wise.

Current plan

Currently I am closely monitoring the bugs the community reports.
The plan is to ensure a stable launch by fixing any bugs reported as soon as possible.
Estimate that this will last a week. During this time period I will also be closely listening to the community feedback on various gameplay mechanics in the game, and tweaking them accordingly.

Future plans
1. Map editor & Workshop support
Once the most prominent issues are ironed out, I will start moving on to preparing the map editor and Workshop support for the game.
There is a map editor in the game present, however access to it is currently disabled, as it is not intuitive to use. It basically needs an update to be more user-friendly.
2. Implementation of various community suggestions
Like I mentioned earlier in this post, I'll be closely listening to the community, picking out interesting ideas, and implementing them. You can expect these to come with the map editor update.
Balance tweaks, feature toggles, etc. will be added. Of course I don't promise that I will implement every single suggestion, nor that I will cardinally change the core game design, but tweaks here and there can be expected.
3. Expansion of modding capabilities
The Workshop support will launch together with the map editor, however the Workshop will only support maps for the time being.
The game will get greater modding support in one of the future updates. I am still deciding how extensive the modding support should be, but I believe that what I have in mind will be enough to please a lot of people.
For those interested, the game is made using the LOVE2D framework. If you're actively waiting for modding support, then take a look, familiarize yourself with it, so that you more or less know what to expect.

That about wraps up the first post in the "What's Next? #1" series.

Thank you for reading, hope you're enjoying the game!
