Season 4 Ranked & Matchmaking Updates

[p][/p][p]As we prepare to roll out Season 4, we want to take a moment to walk you through the changes coming to League placements, ranked matchmaking, and seasonal customization rewards.[/p][p]These updates are the result of ongoing analysis and a large amount of community feedback from previous seasons. Our goals for Season 4 are simple: improve competitive fairness, reduce unnecessary grind, and make ranked progression feel clearer and more rewarding at every level of play.[/p]
League Placement Changes
[p]In previous seasons, progression—particularly at higher Leagues—could feel overly punishing after a reset. To address this, we’ve adjusted the League Point thresholds to better match expected progression pacing across tiers:[/p]
 • [p]Bronze: 0 League Points (bottom of Bronze League)[/p]
 • [p]Silver: 300 League Points (bottom of Silver League)[/p]
 • [p]Gold & Platinum: 500 League Points (bottom of Gold League)[/p]
 • [p]Emerald, Diamond & Noachium: 1500 League Points (bottom of Emerald League)[/p]
[p]These changes are intended to reduce grind fatigue while still preserving the satisfaction of climbing back toward your previously earned League through consistent performance. [/p]
Matchmaking Changes
[p]League placement changes go hand-in-hand with matchmaking updates.[/p][p]For Season 4, we’ve restructured ranked matchmaking brackets to tighten skill ranges and improve overall match quality. Players entering ranked queues will now be matched within the following League groups:[/p]
 • [p]Matchmaking Group 1: Bronze & Silver[/p]
 • [p]Matchmaking Group 2: Gold & Platinum[/p]
 • [p]Matchmaking Group 3: Emerald, Diamond & Noachium[/p]
[p]This structure helps ensure that matches stay competitive and that teams are formed with more consistent skill expectations, particularly at the upper end of the ranked ladder.[/p][p]We’re also addressing long wait times for larger groups. The maximum queue time for crews of four or more players has been reduced from 5 minutes to 2.5 minutes. This should significantly cut down on extended waits, while still maintaining protections to avoid matching large crews against much smaller squads.[/p]
Seasonal Customization Rewards
[p]Season 4 also brings an update to League-based customization rewards.[/p][p]This season, all participating players will receive the Season 4 Decal – Orbital Insignia. As a result, there will be no League-exclusive decals this season.[/p][p][/p][p]However, League identity remains a core focus through exclusive League Stickers and Wraps, which continue to be unique for each League tier:[/p][p][/p][carousel][/carousel][p]These rewards are designed to give each League its own visual identity and provide clear recognition for progression beyond rank alone.[/p]
Looking Ahead
[p]These Season 4 updates are part of our ongoing effort to improve the player experience based on community feedback. Throughout the season, we’ll continue monitoring progression data, matchmaking performance, and player sentiment—and we’ll make further adjustments where needed.[/p][p]As always, thank you for your continued support, and we’ll see you on the Wild Ten![/p]

[p]Stay tuned to our official X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok channels, and join the War Robots: Frontiers subreddit and Discord for all the latest news and updates.[/p][p] [/p]
