Eternal Strands: ‘PARASITE COSMETICS’ Update 🦗

[h2]New Content[/h2][p]For our special Summer update LIVE NOW, Yellow Brick Games teamed up with Suda51 and Tadayuki Nomaru from Grasshopper Manufacture, known for the No More Heroes series and upcoming Romeo is a Dead Man, to co-develop stunning original cosmetics for Brynn. This partnership brings the Gallant heavy armor set and Parasite weapon recipes, which reskin the Kinetic Bow, Frost Sword & Shield, and Flame Two-Hander.

Note: This content is found in recipes scattered across various maps. Happy hunting![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]New Codex Entries and Resources[/h2][p]New codices linked to the new recipes unlock 4 new dyeing-only materials upon completion!

[/p][h2]New Quality of Life Features and Bug Fixes[/h2][p]Thanks to your constructive feedback and detailed reports from our community, we’ve been able to bundle up a number of other improvements and bug fixes with this small update!   • [p]Walking on bridges made with Ice Wall has been improved.[/p]
  • [p]Using the Watcher’s Wisp while in range of a marker will highlight it.[/p]
  • [p]Brynn will lose less stamina when clinging onto Epics while they attack.[/p]
  • [p]When an Ember Servant is within an Ensnaring Blast, the Ensnaring Blast will now detonate after the Ember’s Servant explodes.[/p]
  • [p]Bow weapon abilities can now be used while in Magic casting stance.[/p]
  • [p]Target lock in now implemented for Celestial Scope. [/p]
[h3]UI & Quality of Life[/h3]
  • [p]Total amount of resources you own are now shown when viewing resources in your loot bag and selecting items for your safety pouch.[/p]
  • [p]Loomgates have been reordered in the destination menu in a more intuitive way.[/p]
  • [p]Weapon and armor tooltips now show bonus power levels.[/p]
  • [p]Stat updates of weapon changes can now be previewed in the gauge.[/p]
  • [p]Quest icon is anchored to screen borders when not in view. This option can be toggled off in the Options menu.[/p]
  • [p]Powers in the Power Wheel are greyed out if you don’t have enough mana to use it right away.[/p]

  • [p]Fixed an issue with the Frost Sword & Shield and Frost Two-Hander weapon abilities not working properly in Story Mode.[/p]
  • [p]Small tweaks to Brynn’s bare fisted attack combo.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a crash when loading a save file while in Starlight Cape.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed various issues with the Watcher’s Wisp when tracking codices.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Spindle disappears after talking with the Axle.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue in Upper Dynevron causing the player to respawn in a chasm.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed certain chests spawning in the ground.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue causing loot to fall inside of props.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed damage number spam when Celestial Scope hits ice.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed various clipping with armor sets and weapons.[/p]
  • [p]Ark of the Arbalest’s ranged attack adjusted: if it fails a ranged attack 3 times, it will move somewhere else.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Ark of the Nova gets trapped near the Hallowpyre Shrine.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with certain Epic creatures spawning indefinitely in Starlight Cape.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the game would not be centered on start-up when in Windowed Mode.[/p]
  • [p]Various other minor bug and crash fixes.[/p]

Hello again, Weavers! 👋

Today's small hotfix includes:

  • Added "What's New" pop-up to the Main Menu
  • Celestial Scope power now target all limbs of an Epic more accurately
  • Lingering drones are now destroyed when you are defeated by the Ark of the Nova and return to the same area
  • Trophy and achievement description for "Titan, Fall" has been updated for accuracy
  • Changing key binds now show input icons instead of key strings in the PC Options menu


The hotfix should be rolling out across all platforms as of the time of this post.
