The Skerville Slasher is on the rampage and has claimed yet another victim. This brand new, gore-filled DLC will be releasing this month and will contain not only this head-splitting mask but other cosmetic goodies to add to your Sker runs this Summer!

Thank you to Ballman274 for this suggestion, we had so much fun making this a reality! What will we do next...? If you have a DLC suggestion, leave a comment below and who knows, maybe you'll see it come to life in the future.

It is today, on the last day of May that we fulfill our promise to those who have asked nearly every day since the release of the roadmap. That's right, PS5 crossplay is finally here! Along with it, we have some improvements to the invite system that will make it all the more easier to play with your cross-platform friends!

We also couldn't have a patch without fixing some extra issues too, so please do take a look below at the full detailed patch notes.

Patch v.1.0.2 - 31/05/2024[/h3]

NEWLY ADDED
- PlayStation® 5 CrossPlay with Steam & Xbox is now available
- Party Code invite system now has an improved interface and flow

BUG FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS
- Teammate revive interaction now doesn't reset the progress when you're interrupted
- Fixed an issue causing the cutscene for finishing all the hidden stories to not play
- Increased the text size of UI in several places
- Added more text to be modified by the Text Size option
- Audio improvements on weapons
- The cat in the Goon Brenn DLC Menu Background now has improved animations

LOCALISATION UPDATE
- Fixed an issue causing the upside down question mark (¿) to not appear in Spanish localization

STEAM DECK UPDATES
- Controller Options Menu now shows a Steam Deck
- Steam Deck now uses it's own set of button icons

CONSOLE ONLY UPDATES
- You can now choose to start the game in online or offline mode
- Fixed an issue causing the damage visualization to be brighter than intended

PS5 ONLY UPDATES
- Added Welsh Language

We've got the latest patch notes for you Sker Islanders! These fixes are live across all platforms.

Patch v.1.0.1 - Hotfixes 22/05/2024[/h3]

BUG FIXES & UPDATES

- Added Text Size option
- Increased damage of "The Plague" from 210-190 max-min to 280-250 max-min
- Changed the Damaged Graphic that appears on the screen to make it more obvious that you're at lower health
- Names of Trial Objecties now appear as red
- Trial Objectives now always appear at the bottom of the objective lists
- Improved text scaling in objective texts
- Perk Upgrade menu now shows the main description with it's upgraded values
- Teammates death timer now pauses during Spirit Revives
- Menu Options with sliders now move faster after holding the button for a few seconds
- Audio improvements across all weapons

- Fixed an issue causing the Killerwatt enemy to cause massive framerate drop when going over a certain number on screen, specifically in "The Ashes of Sker Hotel"
- Fixed an issue causing the Party Code Input to stay highlighted after deselecting
- Fixed an issue causing area of effect abilities to break the movement of the gantry objective in "Sewers of the Dead"
- Fixed an issue causing players to receive messages from other players that have previously disconnected and just rejoined
- Fixed missing localization in several objectives and enemies in "Deadly Lover's Fortress"
- Fixed an issue which allowed you to push "The Stranger" around as while you're a spirit
- Fixed an issue causing the teleporter particle effect to cause framerate drops
- Removed Abraham's health reset when he exits the room by accident
- Fixed a bug causing one of the cylinders to not be interactable in "Cursed Lands of Lavernock"

STEAM DECK UPDATE

- Defaulted Steam Text Size to Large
- Fixed Videos not playing
- Fixed On-Screen Keyboard not appearing when trying to input a Party Code

- Fixed an issue causing interacting with the Godkiller Pillar Sigils to be awkward
- Fixed performance issue caused from spawning more impact particles than intended
- Fixed performance issue caused by UI updating all the time
- Fixed an issue causing Molotovs to inherit the properties of an equipped weapon and sometimes shoot like a gun
- Fixed an issue causing the game to not unpause if you've been left solo in an online game
- Fixed an issue causing the Poison Fog Miracle to behave incorrectly
- Fixed an issue causing the Perk Upgrade menu to always revert the menu background to the default
- Fixed an issue causing the hidden story achievements to be rewarded before when you exit the game instead of when you finish the objective
- Fixed a memory leak caused by the Invisible enemies
- Fixed a memory leak caused by enemies not being completely destroyed
- Fixed an issue causing some areas to not count as explored
- Fixed an issue causing Shock N Load to trigger too many times when quick swapping between Godkiller
- Potential fix for enemy abilities inheriting the damage of the player abilities and causing one shots
- Potential fix for certain weapons inheriting the shooting abilities of other weapons, specifically the Godkiller
- Fixed an issue causing critical damage increases to not apply to critical body shots
- Added a way to respawn in case you get stuck by not moving & holding the voice line button for 2 minutes
- Fixed an issue causing the Welsh language to disappear sometimes
- Fixed an issue causing the Join Code entry to break when having to type W or S

CONSOLE SPECIFIC UPDATES

(Xbox Series X|S)
- Improved Input Lag on Xbox Series X|S
- Fixed an issue causing the Japanese subtitles to not appear

(PlayStation 5)

- Extended the Field of View option to 120

We also want to make our players aware that Unity is affected by certain Intel instability issues that are affecting Intel 13th & 14th Gen Processors which in certain instances are causing crashes in game. Our team advise if you are experiencing frequent crashes with those processors that in some cases, turning off "XMP" in your BIOS will help but it is not a guaranteed fix.
