Archangel has always been a 50/50 to some. While it certainly doesn't have very powerful weapons to begin with and is seemingly a very defensive ship, it does possess some real firepower and is the only ship that doesn't directly open a wormhole to effect the surroundings.

[h2]Introducing: Angelic Assimilation[/h2]

Firstly, it's called that because the initial energies it emit looked just like the wings of an angel from top-down.

Secondly, its main ability is augmented mimicry.

What does it mean? It mimics weapons fired by enemies and adopt its inherent properties as your own. The augmentation comes from your original weapons. If the turrets, say, side turrets, were hosting a pair of phoenix missile launchers which is guided; then the mimicked weapon will also be guided.
