Immerse yourself in history with the Addition of the Mayan Civilization. Explore their unique research tree, custom units and buildings.

Introducing Team Mode: Form teams of 2 or 3 to coordinate attacks, trade resources, and share victory conditions.

  • Army and Defender Balancing: Adjustments made to priests, templars, and warlocks for more strategic combat.
  • Villager and Building Adjustments: Changes to resource drops, building HP, and villager defense mechanics.
  • Disasters phase: Shortened Disasters phases and synchronized disaster events across all islands.
  • Research Costs & Rewards: Lowered costs for most researches and adjusted the rewards for pillaging and cultural proximity effects.

  • Trade Efficiency: Double the resources acquired through market trades.
  • Rituals: send a skull to each opponent for every Sorcerer Tower you own.
  • Ship Hold Optimization: Double the capacity of your ships.

  • Increased Player Support: Game now supports up to 12 players for larger battles (note: may increase lag on lower-end systems).

Gold Rewards in Dice Kingdoms Now Available in All Modes!

Previously, the only way to unlock Civilization Gold was through PvP matchmaking.

We heard you and are pleased to announce that you can now earn 12 gold for every victory in any game mode.

Whether you're dueling against AI opponents, battling with your friends, or competing online, each victory will now reward you with the same gold bonus! This sweeping change ensures that every moment spent in Dice Kingdoms can be rewarding.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has invested in Roman Civilization. Your support has been instrumental in the development of Dice Kingdoms.

Roman Update

Hello everyone,

We have just released an exciting major update, here is a summary of the changes:

Revised Culture Mechanics and Unique Civilization Research Trees:
One of the biggest changes involves the culture mechanic. Culture is no longer a victory condition, but now plays a crucial role in unlocking new Tier 2 and Tier 3 buildings.
By researching different technologies in the university, you will gain access to the tech tree, unlocking buildings, units, and upgrades. These advancements will play a crucial role in developing your island, expanding your empire, and gaining an edge over your opponents.

Each civilization now has its own specific research tree, allowing you to explore different paths of development and advancement. Expand your empire by unlocking new buildings, recruiting powerful units, and improving your strategic skills.

This update adds even more strategic depth and variety to the gameplay experience. Explore the strengths and weaknesses of each civilization, and forge your own path to victory.



Civilization Unlock System and Roman Empire:
Introducing the Civilization Unlock System! Every day you can win 6 golds by winning a quick match and use this new currency to unlock civilizations.
These include the mighty Roman Empire. Acquire it through in-game accumulation or purchase it directly from Steam. Additionally, during the Roman Civilization launch event, daily bonus rewards will be multiplied to accelerate your progress.

To celebrate the Roman civilization the daily reward is up to 12 gold per day until the end of July.

Water building:
We have introduced new buildings to place in water. You can now build fishing ships that provide a steady source of food without taking up space on your island, ensuring the prosperity of your kingdom. In addition, a new building called a lighthouse will increase the food yield of your fishing ships.



Island Expansion:
Shape your kingdom's destiny with a new special building that allows you to expand your island. Strategically plan and build structures to gain a stronger foothold against your enemies.



Disaster Rebalance:
We heard your feedback! To provide a more balanced experience, we have reduced the impact of three major disasters: Disease, Revolt, and Pirates. They now have 50% of their original effect, giving you more room to recover and strategize effectively.

We hope this new strategic dimension will add excitement and variety to your Dice Kingdoms sessions.
