New Battlefield 2042 event introduces more game modes, an evil AI, and robots

It's no secret that Battlefield 2042 struggled at launch. EA's latest attempt at bringing back its flagship military series wasn't met with the explosion the developer hoped for, and that's why the next entry in the franchise looks to be going back to basics. However you feel about the specialist system, though, EA has at least spent the last few years massively supporting the shooter. Now, the latest update is here, and it introduces an all-new event filled with a rogue AI, robots, and some revamped ways to play.
