Hi, everyone. Welcome to another week's developer's diary.
As mentioned before, the current story is one of the biggest secrets of the Nise Federation and the NEOLITHIC/NEOLITHIA faction. So, I am not going to spoil anything about it.
But, hey! Resident Evil 9 has just been released. So, how about I spoil that game instead? :)
Alright, this diary contains a lot of spoilers for that game. Go away if you don't want to be spoiled.
OK, you are still here. Let's begin.
Resident Evil 9, as a Resident Evil game, contains a new virus and new zombies, of course.
I heard some of those zombies still have their memories and can participate in some activities they did when they were still alive. So, that shall make them very good servants you can order around.
I also heard they have some suspicious guys in trench coats who will stalk you around. Maybe they are not fast, maybe they don't run. They just walk toward you menacingly.
I also heard the story is about Recoon City, a place they blew up more than 20 years ago.
A kid they saved back then has grown up and is playing a major role there.
Deep beneath that city lies a place called ARK. The bad guys, just like Zhang Yin, think it contains something that can help them mind-control the entire world. So, they worked so hard and got there just like Zhang Yin did to breach all the defenses of the North Peak in our previous story. Well, guess none of them will end up finding what they expected.
Also, I heard Leon Kennedy killed HUNK in RE9. Yes, the HUMAN UNIT NEVER KILLED was murdered by an almost 50-year-old man with an axe. What a petty. You know, there are many cool guys who wear armor and clothes just like HUNK. They have both male and female versions. (There is a female HUNK in Resident Evil: Revelations 2. :P )
I wonder who is under those heavy gears. What do they look like?
Alright, that's all I can spoil you for now. Let's keep going to see what Resident Evil 9 does not have, but we do.
We do have both NEOLITHIA and NEOLITHIC
They are actually two organizations. But their agents will respond to you whichever you call them, as if they are not aware of that slight difference. Those two names are very often mixed up when people use them. But why?
A question that may have haunted for a decade in this game's history. There are finally going to be some answers.
The Nise Federation has many unsolved mysteries. After all, the entire nation is an anomaly.
But what if one day it breaks the containment?
Yes, an entire nation out of its containment.

There are actually two songs added this week. But the other contains too many spoils. So, it's sealed deep in the North Peak just like the other parts of the story. You can't even find it in the Boombox.
Anyway,
One day, the veil may finally break.
One day, this flag will tell its story.
The normal world has been living in a "normal", comfortable life for far too long.
Some nations enjoy the US's military protection, allowing it to maintain high welfare. Yet, they are ungrateful. They never said "Thank you" to JD Vance.
Some nations never thought the world would fall into disarray so easily, maintaining pathetic energy reserves. They paid the price over the days that passed.
Some nations are usurped by corrupt politicians, allowing the Woke virus to destroy their traditions and values.
Some nations elect people who make empty promises while stealing from their people via printing a tremendous amount of FIAT currency to destroy their younger generations.
Some nations have no idea what is to come. Their shortsighted minds cannot foresee a dark future they are crashing into.
Are those nations even worth saving if one day all hell breaks loose?

You know, in an apocalypse, who else will survive?
A nation that is always prepared. A nation that is always on high alert. A nation that survives when facing enemies all around it.
Oh, I shall thank him and President Trump for decapitating Khamenei. The world is now a better place. They are the ones who save the world. They are the ones who break the chains. Where are the leftists when the Iranian people are slaughtered on the streets? Where are the woke when a black man with mental illness stabbed a Ukrainian girl?
