Hi, everyone! Happy New Year! Welcome to the first DD of 2024.
This week, we reached the 2nd accessible island of the Nise Federation. It's the smallest island in this archipelago nation. But, it also holds the strongest magic power thanks to the Sealed Palace beneath its underwater checkpoint.
The Sealed Palace is where the Dark Elf King went on his self-exile eons ago. Thus, during this week's update, a new quest "The Legend of the Dark Elf King" starts right after you finish the pre-required mission you received in Marinas. You can now already access the Floor of Earth in the Sealed Palace. Other floors will become available in future updates. The journey of this quest is also a journey for your main character to find their true identity. What were they before the airport incident? Will this be the truth or another false memory?

Of course, to recreate the heroic journey of the ancient time, to break through the 4 floors of the Sealed Palace and reach the Dark Elf King's throne, it will not be that easy. You will meet powerful guardians of this palace.
The good news is that you may be able to turn them into your pets if you have a significant binding skill level. Alternatively, as those Earth Golems are all stone creatures, a certain invention of Dr. Kyoryu may be very helpful here.
In addition to the magic power, Qinuyi also has another unique feature thanks to its geographic location. As it is at the certain of the Nise Federation, it also became an airline center. Yes, this anomalous nation even has a domestic airline company. The difference from nations in the normal world is that they use giant bats called "Jamei" to transport passengers or goods. The first Jamei Airline between Qinuyi and Marinas is already available. It makes exploring and solving quests in the Nise Federation become much more flexible. It also brings back some old memories of that long-dead Stone Age Online.
Other than the updates in Qinuyi, we also have:
1, A new quest that rewards you when you explore the Nise Federation
You can get this quest from your local contact after you reach the 3rd chapter of the main story. Report any major towns you have visited to her can give you some decent rewards. The order does not matter as the quest is absolutely non-linear. Thus, you can do this quest at your own pace and path.
2, Better Organized Bandits
From the desert of Katan to another desert in Egypt, bandits of the world are united! (At least when they decide to try to rob you together.) They are now technically in the same faction. That allows them to put them as random enemies in themed random caves that also have been added to the Wonderland Travel Agency this week.
3, The Abandoned Building In Egypt Is Now a Foundation-Categorized Anomaly.
The building may now randomly spawn a dead body and a foundation document in its rooms. The document shall provide additional background stories of this Abandoned Building. It's no longer just a building that spawns random things in its rooms. It's part of a secret history. There are certainly some references to the "normal world" such as the Second Arab–Israeli War and the Cold War in general.
4, Nurgle Appeared in the Steam Workshop
The latest mod from Una. She says it's a New Year gift.
Quite strange. But, reasonable. After all, Nurgle is also about "rebirth" and "the circle of life."
Something fun with this mod is that the followers of Nurgle seem not only immune to poison, but they can also gain additional life regeneration power when poisoned. Image, some bosses such as Covid Vector try to poison your entire group, yet you welcome that, bathing in the poison and becoming almost unkillable. It's quite game-breaking. :)
