Hi, everyone. Welcome to another week's developer's diary.
This week's updates bring additional features to several play styles.
Here is a list of the changes:
For a shade-influenced character, if your group's shade corruption level is high enough, certain shade creatures will no longer attack you. However, on the other hand, you may still choose to attack them. This is automatic and passive. You do not need to spend additional resources to acquire this perk. The dark figure in the Bazaar may provide you with more information regarding this.
For a character who trades souls with a certain demon, you now have an additional pact that can summon a Gunsmith from Hell to provide you with some fire-related gun components. You can summon them at almost any location. Thus, that shall also allow you to resupply your ammunition in case you run out. For more creative usage, you may use them to block the path of your enemies.
For a character who prefers to use firearms, RPGs can now be modified with additional components you find.

For Baldur's Gate 3 players who saw a lot of tentacles and certain secret cultists who are waiting for the stars to be in the right places, we now have a new belief:

You can gain additional power at the cost of your sanity. You can bring fear to your enemies. If that's not tempting enough, at least, it can also improve your fishing skills. :)
It's unlocked by reading a Lovecraft book that you may find in the Grand Library or given by someone in the dock area of Marinas.
We also get another faith tenet known as "The Sea Will Consume Us All." This new tenant can work with other doomsayer tenets and beliefs to make it more scary when you pray to reveal a vision of doom upon your enemies.
For players who enjoy cheating and use the console command to mess around, more pet data has been added to the pet box.
For players who enjoy randomly generated maps. More enemy types now have a chance to appear.
In addition to the features mentioned above, we also have some other updates related to the further development of Marinas areas. The main story continues in the Marinas Station. New music has been added in the dock area. You may also find something sinister in the hospital.
That basically covers all the content updates. However, we also have an update about our planned price change in September. Although I planned to not change the price in Ukraine until the war ends, Valve updated their price policy to make me have to increase the price a bit as well.

Valve's price policy change may also dramatically affect some other regions. The impact on Turkey and Argentina regions may be greater than previously predicted.
Here is what I'm going to do. To compensate for this inevitable price increase, a sale will take place on August 28th or 29th, depending on your time zone. It will last 168 hours. Shortly after that, the price of the game will increase in all regions as we finished Chapter Two of the game.
So, I think that's it for this week. I hope you enjoy those new features. :)
