Hi, everyone. Welcome to another week's developer's diary.
This week, the development of the Mini-Game Room continues.
First, two more new mini-games:
The Mass-Effective-2-Sytle hacking game and the Sliding Puzzle Mini-Game. They are both ported to this game mode and fully functional. The lock-picking mini-game is also in this room. But, it's a bit different, we will get it a bit later in this developer's diary.
Meanwhile, all mini-games in this room have been adjusted to work much better with the time-limited challenge mode.
Now, you may be wondering why I spent time doing this now in addition to the reasons I mentioned last week. Here are more details:

In addition to the game's update, we also got the most important RPG Maker Jam of RPG Makers who speak Chinese to mess around. :D
But another important thing is that some British guys told me it's also near the Independent Day of Ukraine. #MakeNoiseForUkraine
So, I decided to do all three things together in one independent Mini-Game Mode. :D
In about 20 hours, the RPG Maker Event will hit its deadline for entry submission. There will be about 20 games free for all to play. The entry I added there is the standalone version of the mini-game room. But, you can still grab the save files of it and extract those GPA coins you get in the main game. There will likely be some other quite interesting RPGs people can play.

But as it's an event whose official language is Traditional Chinese, not all game entries are localized in other languages.
But, is that everything about the Mini-Game Room? Of course not. Because this is NEOLITHIA. You can always expect to find some dark secrets beneath a seemingly normal facade of reality. (Here is also the part where your lock-picking skills will come in handy.)
Sometimes, it's better to not know the truth. But, I don't think such a warning will stop many people. Because many of this game's players are extraordinary people.
"You love fighting evil. You don't run from it, you don't try to avoid it; you welcome it, you crave it. You invite the pain and cherish the suffering. You dive right into the Filth and you make no attempt to wash it off, and when you finally climb back out, it doesn't matter how bad it smells, how the stench and the taint cling to you, you just can't wait to dive back in..."

If it is, maybe you will find what dark secret behind this "Mini-Game Room" and even somehow enjoy it.
In addition to the Mini-Game Room, as we can now gain GPA coins in a more concentrated manner, I think it's also a good item for adding new items you can use those GPA coins you gain from playing mini-games to exchange. Six more items have been added to the list. You can exchange GPA coins for them in the game with any GPA Agent. More details can be found on the game's Wiki or in the full update log of this week.
Even though the main focus of this week is still in the Mini-Game Room, we still have some other content for Jiru Island. Fjordr East Barricade is now accessible. But stories still need to be filled in. I will likely do it right away next. Of course, the new story needs new characters.

About the next week:
1, I will be traveling to Guangzhou next Friday for legal business. (Yes, once again, for people who don't know, I have a daytime job as a lawyer even though I pretty much spend more time developing games than doing those lawyer things.) But anyway, that may cause the next developer's diary to be delayed.
2, The end of August is coming. The game's price will increase at the beginning of the September. (Once again, for people who don't know, this is kinda a tradition as more and more content gets added to the game, the game's price will slowly increase every year.) As mentioned earlier, there will be a sale before the price increase which is also a tradition. It will happen next week, too.
