Welcome to the first developer's diary of June.[/p][p]Even though it's just the first week of the month, we have seen quite a lot of madness going on.[/p][p]This week's story is about what this world really is, both in the game and in our reality.[/p][p][/p][p]You may already know, "All the world's a stage, And all the MEN and WOMEN merely players." That's what William Shakespeare said. In truth, that's not even a professional stage. It's a shabby, makeshift stage performed by a troupe.[/p][p][/p][p]Have you ever felt that you could do better if you were the one in charge, the one making decisions, or the one ruling your nation? Well, you can just be right because I have seen how this world is right there. I have seen developers in a big game company less skillful than college students working on their hobby projects. I have seen professional fund managers make far less profit than I do in the stock market. I do not have a law school diploma, but I passed all the exams and got myself a lawyer's license all by self-education, while many law school students are still struggling. I have seen those so-called experts making predictions on TV on world geopolitical matters different than me, and they are almost always wrong. [/p][p]The story's moral is that the world is a troupe performing on a shabby, makeshift stage that is far less fancy than it may look from the outside. Did Donald Trump and Elon Musk have previous experiences as politicians? No, but they came in and were successful to a certain degree. Some would say their recent argument is like kids, lacking professionalism. However, truly powerful people do not need to pretend to be someone they are not. They can be their true selves. That's the path of freedom and self-realization. That's the path of Übermensch, the path to be your most authentic self. They have their own ideas that they believe in and fight for. They are not those so-called professional politicians who will vote without even reading the bills. And through such actions, they also break the illusion and demonstrate what the world really is. The world is a shabby, makeshift stage performed by a troupe.[/p][p][/p][p]Now, what's that all about in our game?[/p][p]This week, we are exploring the side of the story of the Nise Federation's military activities in Fjordr.[/p][p]Compared to the survivors in Dana, under siege, cut off from the rest of the Federation, those guys are in a much better position in this war with machines.[/p][p]They also have a good cast of commanding officers, at least at first glance. [/p][p]They have a veteran field officer with big muscles.[/p][p]They have an inquisitor from the mainland to maintain their morals and purge heresy in their ranks.[/p][p]But they get stuck in a trench crusade (No pun intended. :P) even when they are facing far less elite enemies.[/p][p]In this week's story, mainly the first part of the quest "Mission: Improbable," you will discover why.[/p][p]The quest has a silly name, and it has some silly content. And, you can find out why things are going so inefficiently down there. [/p][p]

[/p][p]Oh, yes, Raerson will be back in the story. And he has been promoted to the rank of colonel.[/p][p]People from the era of SAPC++ may know more about his background story. Basically, he is our Leon Kennedy turned Fox Mulder turned Albert Wesker with some powers similar to Roy Mustang

[/p][p]We will very likely have more content about him next week when he actually returns to the base. :D[/p][p][/p][p]As the story progresses, you can build up your relationship with the Inquisition for the first time. Your reward will be in a new type of currency known as the Inquisition Seals. As such, we now also have a new inquisition merchant you can find in Samujier's Cathedral. You can use those seals to exchange for all kinds of items.[/p][p]

However, even different inquisitors may have different views on matters.[/p][p]For example, some believe Samujier is actually Jesus, just in different parallel universes and timelines, and others think this is heresy.[/p][p]After all, the world is a shabby, makeshift stage performed by a troupe. :)[/p][p][/p][p]That's all the mess from the reinforcement side.[/p][p][/p][p]We also got more content for those survivors in Dana.[/p][p]The shelter now has two floors. You can travel between them via the elevator.[/p][p]The chaplain now also hangs Holy Images on the wall to inspire his fellow soldiers.[/p][p]You can now use Butterfly Wings to teleport out of the shelter, no matter which part of the shelter you are currently in.[/p][p][/p][p]And that's for this week. The world is a shabby, makeshift stage performed by a troupe. Society is designed this way to ensure that most people are in their places, feeling a lack of power to change things. It's easy to control this way. But those who want to take power. It is not as hard as it looks.
