Improved Navigation, Maps & Player Guidance
[h2]Hello Community, [/h2][p]In this update, I’ve made several improvements and adjustments to the starting area, the environment of Lost Island, and the overall map system.[/p][p]Based on observations, including YouTube gameplay, I noticed that many players were running straight into the forest during their first playthrough, which often caused confusion.
To improve the early experience, I’ve reworked the starting area so players are now guided more clearly in a specific direction and can find their way to the farm. The idea is that you visit the farm first to gather the necessary equipment.[/p][p]I’ve also taken your feedback regarding the solid bushes into account. Their size has been slightly reduced, making it easier to build on grassy areas.[/p][p]Additionally, I’ve updated the map overview in the navigation system. All four playable maps have been adjusted:[/p]
Areas such as underground bunkers, secondary mine entrances, hideouts, and isolated side buildings are intentionally not displayed to preserve the sense of exploration.[/p][p]Lastly, a quick note: the map display in the navigation system may currently appear slightly blurry or pixelated.
This was not intended and only became noticeable after the update. I’ll be working on improvements for this in a future update.[/p][p][/p][p]
