Change in Beta test schedule, Key questions from the online conference Q&A sessi
We are here to drop the news about the extended 2nd beta test and some of the key questions from the online conference that was hosted on 11/19 13:00 PM (PST).

As many of you guys requested, we are extending the schedule of our 2nd beta test. The main goal of the extension is to offer you guys with longer testing opportunity and to test custom servers.

[h3]1. Landmark and Terrafire[/h3]
Q. Landmark, and boss raid is way too difficult
A. You have to target those areas with armors and weapons at least over tier 3. Also, it is not meant to be cleared solo, you have to make up a team to clear those areas. However, we are aware that balance among players does exist, so we are planning on adjusting the balance a bit
Q. Event alarms are way too hard to catch, can you make it more noticeable?
A. If we were to make alarms for boss and spot events as well, there may be too much info on the map. As of right now, all supply pods are being shown on the map, if we were to add more info on top of that. That would cause too much confusion. However, there is an alarm for landmarks for competition purposes.
Q. Time left for Terrafire eruption stays the same even after the use of landmark skills
A. When the game begins, days left until the eruption is 168 days (In game world), the time either extends or shortens depending on the world’s condition and how players play. However, the date can be shortened too much if players were to use many skills. So, we’ve set a minimum line on the eruption date. It can’t go shorter than that minimum line.
Q. In the event of the Terrafire eruption- won’t people abuse the escape skyrockets, if the boarding locations stay fixed everytime?
A. Since escape skyrockets are a newly added feature, we fixed the location so that players can be more familiar with it. We’ve expected battles near those areas, however, we’ve put a restriction on battle within the rocket itself. After checking how players use this feature, we will update or take out some of the related features to make it better.
[h3]2. Game balance/Items/Housing[/h3]
Q. It is easy to make weapons and ammunition whereas it is hard to collect required materials to upgrade buildings. Any plan on changing that balance?
A. The price of ammunition will increase, especially the rocket cartridges. However, the shield level of buildings will increase accordingly.
Q. First tier buildings are now very easy to loot, but the usage of those low tier items are very low. Can you add features like item conversion and recycle so that we can make use of those items?
A. We recommend using those items as fuel in Terracores.
We have thought about putting in 'recycle' for low tier items.
But we are worried that the experienced users might take advantage of that and target beginners for those low tier items. So we are contemplating about this issue on both ends.
Q.Any plan on adding spot events other than supply pod, snipers, hyena dropship
A. Yes, variety of spot events are planned to be added. Each with differnt goal and purpose.
Q. There are 3 tiers to buildings, do you have plan on adding more tiers to buildings as well?
A. Yes, tiers for everything including weapons, armors and buildings will have 5 tiers in total.
Q. Overall difficulty of the game has decreased way too much due to the added Terrasite exchange transmitter.
A. The balance of that specific item is set very generously since it is a newly added item. After checking how players use this item, however, we will check and analyze the data and fix its balance
Q. I would love to see a snap to grid when placing some items, with a feature that could be turned off or on.)
A. Thanks for a great idea, we will take that into consideration
Q. Any plan on adding more weapons? If so, what kind?
A. Thinking about adding close-distance weapons, and guns with special damage like the Drescher.
Q. Any plan on adding building parts?
A. Of course, parts like pillars will be added. We are sorry that we can't add them all at once.
[h3]3. Single play, fame, team/clan [/h3]
Q. How is single player mode going to be changed?
A. It will constantly be changed, we can't say for sure what is going to be added and taken out. But we will add the same features that will be added to custom servers as well.
Q. Plan on adding any other ranking system other than fame?
A. When we add a clan system, fame ranking for each server will be changed, and integrated fame ranking including all servers will be added as well.
Q. What is the difference between TEAM and CLAN?
Who should we add to TerraCore ? Team or Clan?
A. Team- smaller and shorter relationship that can be on and off whenever
Clan- group that is bigger and lasts longer. Applies to all servers.
Q. Any plan on adding maps? if so when?
A. Map will be updated when we officially launch our game.
New map will have a new scenario also. As of right now, though, we are not sure of the exact date yet.
[h3]4. Other issues [/h3]
Q. Im streaming on Twitch, is there a way to prevent stream sniping
A. We are looking to add blockage system to hide personal information from showing.
Q. The previous Beta, I went to the Radion Zone (NW of Map), and With Radiation Protection, active, i received 500+ rads, in 1 second after getting out Of the vehicle. When will the NW be made available? It was empty last Beta
A. Veiled Northern area will be open when the game officially launches, and landmarks will be added as well
Q. Custom server features are very inadequate
A. We are aware of the issues regarding the custom servers. We have yet to add more features to make them more convenient. We will make it better ASAP.
Q. Please add inventory alignment feature
A. We will add this for sure in our next test. Also, we will add alignment features on the workbench as well.
Q. tried a play speed of more than 10 and it broke the server, when the escape timer came up is 1501234 time equal to 150d 12h 34m?
A. The unit is set in seconds. The unit seems way too small, we will fix it with a bigger unit.
Q. Any plan on adding map-related features where you can share map pings with your teammates?
A. We are actually in the talks about this issue, and we will most likely add this feature pretty soon.
Q. I want to play single player mode duirng the maintenance.
A. These two cannot be run separately currently.
However, these two will be completely separate when we officially launch Dysterra.
Q. When will we be able to choose female characters?
A. Female characters will be available in our official launch.
