If you are having a difficulty in starting the game,
please read and follow the guide down below to join our test.
[h3]đź“ŚThe test is run through playtest [/h3]
Please join through “Dysterra Playtest” app not “Dysterra” app. When you run it with “Dysterra” app, you won’t be able to join.
Also, if you have participated in our previous betas, make sure you re-install the game client. A lot has been changed since our last beta, big updates might bring about problems with running the game.
Steam library - delete “Dysterra Playtest” app
Re-download through Steam library or Steam store page.
[h3]đź“ŚCheck system requirements [/h3]
Errors may occur, If you do not meet the minimum system requirements. Also, If you are using Windows11 OS, you might run into problems as well. We will make sure we provide you with more stable service when we officially launch.

- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 8.1
- Processor: i5-9400 or Ryzen 5 2600
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: GTX 950 or R9 380
- DirectX: Version 11
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 50 GB available space

- Processor: i7-9700 or Ryzen 5 3600x
- Memory: 16 GB RAM

If you have settings that are already saved from previous betas, it might bring about problems when starting the game. If you do run into problems before starting, reset your options to default prior to starting the game.
[h3]đź“ŚSingle player mode[/h3]
By playing in single player mode, you will be given a chance to experience various contents such as spot events and facilities. At the same time, you will be able to adjust the game environment such as resource respawn, PvE damage, and NPC quantity for faster and easier growth.
However, please note that your previous play record will be initialized if you choose to start a New Game in single player mode. Unlike the official server, the single player mode may directly be affected by your personal PC and the system requirements that it has. We will do our best to work on our optimization so that we can provide you with better gaming environment.
[h3]đź“ŚThe official server has both PVP and PVE server.[/h3]
If you are struggling and stressed out to compete with other players, you can join PVE server, and experience the various contents of Dysterra.
6. If you are new to Dysterra, try out the tutorial.
Once the character is created, you will see the tutorial pop-up before accessing the game.
When you decide to go through the tutorial, you can learn a variety of game systems Dysterra has such as looting, crafting, and survival with mission guides in the beginning.
You skipped over without experiencing the tutorial?
Don’t worry, Journal(J) - in the Survival Mission List, you can check out mission information such as how to survive, combat, and crafting through the short videos that Journal offers.
In the Journal, you can find information you might need, including exploration areas, resources, and items. On top of that you can also check the locations of resource drop and NPC by pinging directly to the little map provided in the Journal, as it also appears on the main map.
Of course, those who have already experienced Dysterra can play the game without going through the tutorial.
