(Major Update) Forgotten Heritage (Patch 0.3.0)

The Orbis update is finally almost here! We’ve been sweating at the brow to make some great new content for you all.

Our February update was all about the Hyenas, and this one is all about Orbis. You’ll get a new boss, new NPCs, new base parts, and of course some new guns. We’ve also improved radiation recovery speeds to make the game more accessible to new players.

Down below, I’ll talk about what’s going in, and what’s different, but I’m sure you’ll have some questions. Our team is active on Discord, and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you all have about the new content!

The Heritage 🛸

It should be obvious to anyone on the servers that there’s a new presence on Ararat Island. This ship is the Heritage. It’s the mothership of a fleet of Orbis supply ships that ferry materials between islands. You can fight your way to the portal that leads inside, and get some nifty new items and materials for upgrading your base, armor, or weapons.

Finding the entrance/portal is up to you. Good luck!


New Orbis Enemies 🤖

The Orbis Heavy Gunner is the key to unlocking a whole new set of recipes! Aim for his weak spots and steal his “core” to craft one the new legendary weapons featured below. He’s waiting for you!

You’ll also find a new type of Orbis robot as well as some Advanced Hacking Crates.




Secure Area: Maintenance Bays 🔒

We’re adding some new secure areas to the game. You can think of them like a toned-down loot room where you can find exclusive items for recipes. There are a few of these secure areas, each with slightly different loot inside, so keep an eye out for maintenance bay keys!


2 New Weapons! 🔫


We’ve got two new great guns in this update: our non-legendary tier rocket launcher (Blue Tier), and a legendary assault rifle that uses a new type of ammo to give blast damage that should render most shields useless.

[h2]FFM-202[/h2]

This is our first non-legendary (blue-tier) rocket launcher. The FFM-202, also referred to as the Flashfire, is an entry launcher for survivors that are looking to loot with style, but don’t want the expense and hassle that comes with maintaining a legendary-tier weapon.

The FFM-202 uses Rocket Ammo instead of Rocket Cartridges. This means you won’t have to craft high level ammo for a lower level weapon.

Damage Type: Explosion (= full damage to Hyena & Orbis)

Building Dmg: 125%
Piercing: 4%
Full dmg up to: 65 meters

[h2]TFT-K7[/h2]

A legendary (yellow-tier) assault rifle. The TFT-K7(referred to in-house as the Painstaker) is our first gun to use explosive ammo. While it may shoot a bit slower than other rifles, it gives blast damage, allowing it to damage enemies through shields. With the new

Exploding Ammo is what makes the TFT-K7 so unique and powerful.

Automatic Mining! ⛰️


Are you tired of spending your time gathering basic materials when you could be out there fighting baddies and farming high level parts for your next raid? Well now you can get your terrasite, stone, and minerals mined automatically for you. You’ll need to explore the new secure areas (Maintenance Bays) in order to find their parts, but it’s definitely worth the trouble for anyone who’s looking to save time.



There are 3 types of miner, and each is upgradable to level 2. Level 1 miners will give you only the basic element at a slow rate, but level 2 miners will give you the element at a faster rate, with the occasional high level material included in the output.


Automatic Cultivators 🌱

While you're automatically farming your terrasite, stone, and minerals, you can also be growing your own food inside your base. We’ve got three separate cultivators with multiple upgradable tiers that you can use to grow most of your basic dietary necessities: protein, vegetables, and fungi.

You’ll get spores from mushrooms, serum from animals, and seeds from plants. You can place these in the cultivators to grow them into the full versions. There’s a chance to get more spores, serums, and seeds, so you’ll often end up with a little more than you expect.

You’ll still need to go hunting for food and mushrooms, but these cultivators will help you to get more food in less time. The level 2 versions have better rates, so upgrading will save you more time, but not completely eliminate the need to go foraging.


Trophies 🏆

Show your friends, or unwelcome looters, just how tough you are! Cyclops and Juggernauts are the scariest non-bosses in the game. Starting in this update, you’ll often find a “Cyclops Shape Data” item or a “Juggernaut Shape Data” Item when you kill the respective mob. You can combine 10 of these to form a silver figurine, and then combine 5 silver figurines to craft a golden figurine.

New Building Layouts 🏠🏢🏣🏡🏘️

For all of you farmers out there, we’ve updated the layouts of several building types on the outskirts of the island, and we’ve replaced a large number of buildings with brand new buildings to add variety to your time out in the field gathering supplies.


Level 3 Orbis Container 💎

We’re also releasing a level 3 Orbis Container. This container’s different because it’s our first “grab-bag” style container. You’ll have a chance to get new higher level skins, but there will always be a chance of getting a skin that’s also in one of the lower level containers. Don’t worry, though. If you already have a skin, you’ll receive a portion of the TP you spent on the container.


Stronger Bunker Mobs 🕸️

We’ve added some high-value loot to the bunker, so we decided to increase the HP and attack power of bunker mobs across the board.

Other Changes 📒

🔹 Increased amount of terrasite received from Fine Terrasite Nodes from (20-22) to (25-27)

🔹 Added new items to the journal

🔹 Eating raw broccoli reduces your HP by 3 pts. (was 10 pts)

🔹 New base-parts give players skill XP.

🔹 New base-parts contribute to rankings.

🔹 Faster Recovery from Radiation: 3 points/sec. (was 1 point/sec)
