Patch Notes: v0.6.6

🎄Get ready to unwrap the magic of our festive Christmas update! Spruce up your base with delightful holiday decorations and enjoy special seasonal snacks. Hurry, though – these festive additions will only be available until mid-January. It's the season of giving, and we're thrilled to present these holiday delights to our amazing community.



Holiday Gathering Boost 🎁

To celebrate the season, all of our official PvE servers will have 2X resource gathering for the duration of our holiday celebration!

Excluding special items like keys, all gathering will be doubled over the weekend. This includes terrasite, stone, and metal, as well as all containers and NPCs around Ararat Island.



New Holiday Items🎁

Bring the spirit of the season to your base with Christmas trees, a fireplace, and Christmas-themed chests of all sizes! Be sure to press F on the Christmas tree to hear special holiday music.

We’ve also got some holiday themed snacks for your characters to enjoy!

Holiday Cookies
Christmas Turkey


You can craft them at your consumables bench with Holiday Fiber Meal Kits and Holiday Protein Meal Kits that you’ll now be able to find around the map. I don’t want to spoil the fun, so I’ll let you all have fun finding where they are.

The Christmas Turkey has a high saturation(90!), and the cookies give you 60% radiation resistance.




Home Invasion now comes in 5 flavors!💥

The Orbis Robots have been watching the Hyena forces attack your base, and now that you’re clearly too formidable for the Hyenas, the Orbis forces are going to try getting rid of you before you become too large of a threat!

We’ve added 2 Orbis Home Invasion attacks to the current 3 Hyena versions. Once you reach level 21, you’ll have to defend yourself against orbis robots. You’ll unlock the most difficult Home Invasion when you hit level 26.




Rev Your Engines!🏎️

Hitting other players or mobs while driving will now give varying amounts of damage depending on your speed. The faster you go, the more damage you’ll inflict!




Optimizations & Bug Fixes

🦋 Building fragments will now fade-out as they disappear.
🐛 Fixed an issue where the layout of the character creation window appeared distorted on some resolutions.
🦋 Fixed an issue where, during base attacks by NPCs, if the player was far from the base, there was no prompt on the left side of the HUD.

Patch Notes: v0.6.5

We’re always listening to player feedback, and this week is no different. This week we’ve got improvements to base-building, an upgrade to our anti-cheat measures, and improvements to base efficiency and rocket launcher recoil.



Stack Pillars

You asked for it, and now it’s here! You can now stack pillars on top of one another without any floors between them.



Better Anti-Cheat

Providing a fair gaming experience to players is one of our top priorities. To achieve this, we are switching our anti-cheat tool to "Easy Anti-Cheat." Easy Anti-Cheat is currently used by several renowned games and is recognized as an excellent anti-cheat solution. To learn more, please refer to their website.



Better Miner Efficiency

We’ve reduced the energy usage of mining machines to give players more leeway when it comes to endgame energy expenditures.

Before: 400 energy/min.
After: 250 energy/min.




Reduced Rocket Recoil

We want it to be easier for survivors to adjust their aim after firing a rocket.



Bugs & Optimizations

🐛 Fixed a bug where the corpse of Hyena Axemen and Shotgunners were not detected by vision scan.
🐛 Resolved an issue in the character customization window where players using a gamepad weren’t able to select a hair color.
🐛 Fixed an abnormal behavior of explosive weapons' area damage.
🐛 When destroying existing housing parts, survivors used to receive nothing back if only 1 of a material was used in its crafting. Players will now receive 1 of said material back when destroying that housing part. (e.g. 1/4 Foundation Lv.4).
🐛 Fixed a bug where garage doors were able to overlap.
🐛 Adjusted the crafting bench price for vehicle battery cells, so that crafting with or without a crafting bench will use the same recipe. (Only 2 lithium is required no matter where you craft)

How is everybody doing? In this week’s update, we’ve added a video message from the Director of Orbis himself, while also making it easier to build your base.



Director Armond Reveals the Truth

Orbis’ goal was neither Earth nor Terrasite. The new future that Orbis is aiming to create is beyond your imagination. Finally, Director Armond reveals Orbis’ intentions.

Director Armond will only reveal this secret to survivors who have successfully returned to Orbis. Stay alive and escape on the rocket to learn the truth.




Building Just Got Easier!

Place your next base part with ease. We’ve made installing new base parts less finicky and much faster!




Bugs & Optimizations

🐞Fixed issue where weapons would malfunction after teleporting to the bunker.
🐞Fixed an issue where Orbis robots were fighting amongst themselves in the Launch Pad.
🦋Increased the max distance for receiving the notification for the Home Invasion event.

Patch Notes: v0.6.3

This week’s patch is all about making the analeptic shot more useful! It’s a higher tier item that deserves to be used more often. These changes should also make it a lot easier to craft Level 3 Medical Shots. Good luck out there!



Analeptic Shots Now Heal You

The Analeptic Shot will now also heal you for 50 HP in addition to its previous role of lowering your bleeding, fracture, and radiation damage. Please note that it will not be affected by the ‘First Aid Training’ or ‘Quick Heal’ skills.



Craft Level 3 Medical Shots More Easily

You can now produce your own Talon Biometric Data at your forge! One Talon Biometric Data can be refined from 2 Medical Enzyme Capsules.

🐛 Fixed issue where Chemochamber core could not be destroyed.
🐛 Fixed error in description of Titanica armor.
🐛 Fixed issue where mobs Hyena mobs would occasionally fight each other.
🐛 Fixed issue where mutants wouldn’t use their ranged attack.

‘Home Invasion’ Changes

The Home Invasion event is being unleashed on PvP servers: Global Hardcore and Global Uncapped PvP. You can now fortify your base after the invasion event has begun! Place new turrets and walls as you gear up for an intense battle for your home.

🐛 Fixed walls of rocks so players cannot walk through them.
🐛 Corrected collision handling issues with rocket base.
🐛 Fixed issue where turrets in PvE servers were taking explosion damage.
🐛 Fixed issue where turrets in PvE servers would attack players while they are in a vehicle.
🐛 Fixed issue where long-range mobs in the Meteocenter could not find targets.
🐛 Fixed issue where some mobs could pass through a player’s garage doors or sliding doors.
🦋 Fixed delayed appearance of rocks during vehicle movement, allowing players to glitch inside of the said rocks.
