[p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][h2]Gameplay Trailer[/h2][p][/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][h2]The Curse of Rigel[/h2][p]Explore the new county of Rigel, a region in the kingdom of Alazar where a mysterious curse has emerged. Your troop is hired by the king’s
Prime Surgeon, accompanied by the
Royal Knights, to investigate and attempt to cure the affliction.[/p][p][/p][p]Rigel is home to a dense, unsettling forest known as the
Weald. The only way to enter and navigate it is with a
Lantern, which consumes a new fuel resource. As your troop progresses through the twisted forest, they begin to experience strange visions that affect a new gauge called
Sanity. If your troops' Sanity reaches zero, the troop is forced to flee the Weald.[/p][p][/p][p]Inside the Weald, exploration is limited. The fog of war does not clear, your position is hidden, and there is no visible compass or time indicator. It is within this forest that you’ll discover
Grafts, key ingredients used in a new system:
Scientific Research.[/p][p][/p][p]The
Field Laboratory allows your
Alchemist to conduct scientific research using the Grafts collected in the Weald. Each research session takes one rest and can unlock permanent bonuses such as world passives for the troop, new combat or crafting options, and
upgrades for a new unit type: Lycanthropes.[/p][p][/p][p]
Lycanthropes are people infected by the curse who lose their humanity and gain the ability to transform into wolf-like creatures. The less light there is in the Weald, the more dangerous they become. [/p][p][/p][p]You can
capture Lycanthropes or have your
companions become infected, voluntarily or not. Infected companions can transform into one of two unit types: the
Lycanthrope or the
Hypertrophied Lycanthrope, each with their own skill set and new finishers. These units can be further enhanced by
crafting and applying mutations, which improve existing skills or unlock new ones.[/p][p][/p][carousel]
