Hello!

This small update adds an oft-requested feature: the ability to set the start state of parts like the Hydraulic Cylinder and Motorised Joint!

The start state can be changed from the inventory by right-clicking the part.



Here's the complete list of changes:

  • The start state of some parts can now be set in the inventory. For example you can set the hydraulic cylinder to start extended, or a hinge to start at 90 degrees.
  • The hydraulic cylinder now extends to 3 units instead of 2.8.
  • Fix a bug where the grappling hook would disconnect when playing co-op and the host player fast travelled.
  • Fix some visual glitches with the grappling hook.
  • Fix a bug where the grappling hook winch sound didn't play on net clients.
  • Fix a bug where the clipboard 3D preview wasn't positioned correctly.

Patch v202410311135

  • You can now update your Steam Workshop items from within the game! If you publish a workshop item with the same name as a previously published one, the game will prompt you to replace it, instead of creating a new item with the same name.
  • Fix a bug where the delivery zone would not appear if there was a build contract to the same station.
  • Adjust colliders of fuel tanks and hook parts to avoid some conflicts.
  • Avoid roads intersecting with diving pool construction site.
  • Ensure parts for unlocked blueprints are in the inventory on load.
  • Avoid shopping list overflowing its window in editor.
  • Add custom fast travel point for refinery stations.

  • Build contracts can now be completed with indirect connections that go via intermediate stations.
  • Fix a bug where vehicles would sometimes clip through the road when playing in co-op.
  • Fix a bug where incomplete road/monorail/etc segments wouldn't refund after saving.
  • Fix a bug where a connected monorail station could change to a different building type after an update.
  • Fix a bug where the theodolite build preview sometimes wouldn't show in co-op.

Patch v202410181647

This update fixes a few bugs and makes some minor changes:

  • Add map and in-game markers for the source station of build contracts.
  • Better scaling of build contracts. Longer contracts will be generated depending on how many main contracts have been completed, similar to the way delivery contracts scale.
  • Stop the train driver drifting over time.
  • Remove seams in skybox clouds.
  • Smoother map lines for roads, tracks, etc.
  • Fix a bug where unlocked structures were not saved for players who joined a host's game.
  • Fix a bug where multiple tracks could be connected to the same monorail station.
  • Fix a bug where "build monorail" contracts could be generated for monorail stations that were already connected.
  • Fix robot spawn animation being in the wrong position.
  • Fix monorail shunt sound playing when it shouldn't.

  • Fixed a bug with custom theodolite controls not showing correctly.
  • Fixed a bug where fuel lines would give incorrect obstruction error.
  • Adjust the cost of the 90 Degree Bend part to be the same as the Hub part.
