Terminus: Zombie Survivors News

Hey everyone!

I've uploaded the beta version of Terminus: Zombie Survivors 0.9.9. You can find the full list of changes in the in-game patch notes.

If you have any opinions while playing, please let me know via discussion, comment, or email at [email protected]. I will consider them as much as possible during the beta period.

Note 1: The beta version is currently available only in English and Korean. I'll strive to add all translations soon.

Note 2: The new achievements added in this update will be registered on the Steam system when the update is moved to the default branch. The game will save your records during the beta period, and you can complete the achievement by launching the game after the beta ends, without having to play again.

How to participate in the beta: Go to your Steam Library > Right-click on Terminus: Zombie Survivors > Select "Properties" > Navigate the "Betas" tab > Select the “beta – Beta branch.”

Hey everyone,

I'm excited to share some of the features coming up in the Terminus: Zombie Survivors V0.9.9 update. This update introduces significant changes related to "water." 🌊



Here's what you can look forward to:


[h3]1. Introduction of Water Content[/h3]

Thirst System Implementation: A new survival element, thirst (hydration), will be introduced. You'll be able to manage thirst by drinking water, and new water-related items and ways to obtain water will be added. The thirst will replace the warmth status in order to keep the game from becoming too complex, and the existing warmth system will be simplified.



Fishing and Fish Trapping: As a new way to secure food, fishing and fish trapping will be available for use in water. Fourteen types of fish and seafood can be caught through fishing and fish trapping.



New Water-related Places: Expect new places related to water.


[h3]2. Cooking System Revamp and New Cooking Recipes[/h3]

The existing single recipe cooking will now be revamped with diverse cooking recipes and improved cooking mechanics. The overhaul will allow various outcomes based on tools and ingredients.




[h3]3. Introduction of Difficulty Levels and More Steam Achievements[/h3]

I've heard a lot of requests from you for both easier and more challenging difficulty levels. Starting from version 0.9.9, the difficulty will be categorized into four levels: Easy, Normal, Hard, Apocalypse.
Additionally, more than 30 new Steam achievements will be added to keep your playthroughs fresh even after clearing the game. Your ideas and feedback have been instrumental in this work. Thank you for your valuable input!




[h3]4. Additional Ending[/h3]

Last but not least, an additional ending other than reaching the Terminus will be added!




Alongside these highlights, I'm also working on adding various features and improving gameplay and UI you've suggested.

The 0.9.9 update is extensive, so its development is taking a little longer. I will announce the release schedule once I have a clearer picture. I'm working hard to bring you these new features as soon as possible!

• Fixed an issue where batteries spawned on the ground occasionally appeared as broken.
