2/27/25 - Development Status Update

Hi everyone,
I had originally planned to have an update out by tomorrow. Unfortunately, at the beginning of this week, Windows updates caused a major issue with my machine, and I've been troubleshooting and working on it literally all week. Luckily, I think I finally got it.
As of last night, it seems to be stable, but I'm still not entirely confident with it – although it has been fine today with no further noticeable problems. (Knock on wood) This evening in fact, I stress tested it for several hours and everything seems good to go. Hoping it remains this way.
Regarding the next update, I'm still working on two fairly large additions that will take some time to complete. I should be able to finish them next week if all goes well. I have A LOT of changes and improvements in this next update, so I'm really excited to get it out there for all of you to enjoy!
This update has also taken a bit longer - besides me having computer issues - because I've been experimenting with some new features that have been requested. I don't want to be specific about what they are just yet, in case I'm unable to implement them, and also because I wanted it to be a surprise. So far, I haven't found a way to add them that I'm happy with. I don't want them to feel tacked on, so I've been brainstorming different options, but I'm not satisfied with any of them at this point.
Either way, I will try to post more news next week on the next update, or hopefully just release it. You can look forward to some new quests, more Steam achievements, some new areas to explore, and much more!
