[p]Hey Speedstars,[/p][p]Disney Speedstorm’s Season 14, inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story, is approaching fast, and the team has been working on changes and improvements to the game based on community feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]SEASON 14 CHANGES[/p][p]You can also check out the Season 14 changes outlined in our First Look video.[/p][p][/p][p]Tales[/p][p]Tales is a new event format that brings together multiple Limited Events into one evolving experience — with both PvE and PvP challenges, and major rewards up for grabs.[/p][p]Here’s how it works:[/p]

• [p]New Limited Events unlock progressively throughout each Tale, with each one featuring its own set of quests and objectives.[/p]
• [p]Some Limited Events can be grinded endlessly, while others have fixed limit.[/p]
• [p]Every point you earn contributes to a global reward track. Progress through Milestones and unlock exclusive prizes as the Tale unfolds.[/p]
• [p]Each Tale includes a grand leaderboard that tracks your total score across all connected Limited Events in the chain. Your combined points from participating TLEs will determine your overall rank. The higher you place when the Tale ends, the better your final reward.[/p]
• [p]Multiple Tales can run at once — so there’s always a new challenge, and more chances to climb the ranks.[/p]

MULTIPLAYER & ECONOMY EVENTS [/p][p][/p][p]We’re also introducing a New Type of Time-Limited Event! [/p][p]This new type of event features new objectives, where players can enjoy competing against the other players, and earn great rewards for achieving the highest scores. Here are the elements that define these events: [/p]

• [p] The New Objectives will be actions that are tied to the main gameplay (e.g. participate in multiplayer races.) [/p]
• [p] Players will be given unlimited tries to score as many points as possible. [/p]
• [p] The new type of Time Limited Events will have certain milestones that will give rewards.

RAMP STUNTS INSTANT REACTION[/p][p]We’ve updated how stunts work— giving you more control, more reward, and more chances to leave your rivals in the dust.[/p][p][/p][p]Here’s what’s new:[/p]

• [p]Performing aerial stunts after launching off a ramp no longer just gives a speed boost when landing.[/p]
• [p]Now, each stunt charges your Nitro bar, letting you decide when to unleash your speed.[/p]
• [p]The more stunts you pull off in a jump, the more Nitro you build — and Tricksters earn even more per stunt.[/p]
• [p]It’s no longer just about landing with style — it’s about using your airtime strategically to power up.[/p]

[p][/p][p]RACER VOICEOVER[/p][p]This season, Zurg, Forky, Lotso, and both mid-season Racers — Chip 'n' Dale — will receive voice lines in-game.[/p][p][/p][p]NEW SUPERCHARGE RACERS[/p][p]Hercules from Disney’s Hercules, Elsa from Disney’s Frozen, EVE from Disney and Pixar’s WALL·E, Stitch from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, and the one and only Goofy, straight from Mickey & Friends.[/p][p][/p][p]FREE CHARACTERS:[/p][p]This season, Buzz Lightyear and Bo Peep from Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story will be available as the two free characters for all players as a Season Tour reward.\[SO1] [/p][p][/p][p]SEASON 14 TOURNAMENT AND VAULT PASS[/p][p]During Season 14, Tournaments and Vault Passes will become available for both Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.[/p][p]Tournaments will be available for the following Racers: Jack Skellington, Sally, Dr. Finkelstein, Belle, Beast, and Gaston.[/p][p][/p][h3]NINTENDO SWITCH 2 ENHANCEMENTS[/h3][p]Starting with this season’s update, players on Nintendo Switch 2 can look forward to a much smoother, sharper racing experience thanks to performance enhancements exclusive to the new hardware:[/p][p][/p]

• [p]The FPS cap has been raised to 60, delivering buttery-smooth racing compared to the previous 30 FPS limit.[/p]
• [p]Enjoy 1080p in handheld mode and up to 1440p when docked for a crisper, more detailed look.[/p]
• [p]A number of other visual improvements such as better shadows, anti-aliasing, and shader quality to bring even more visual polish to every track.
  [/p]

[p]These upgrades are exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 players, so make sure your game is updated to get the most out of what the new console has to offer.[/p][p][/p][p]GENERAL FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS[/p]

• [p]We’ve been hard at work implementing improvements to enhance your day-to-day experience, including:[/p]
• [p]Max Racer Level is now displayed in Multiplayer Rankings[/p]
• [p]New Multiplayer Level Cap system introduced:[/p]
  • [p]Each league now has a maximum allowed racer level to improve matchmaking fairness.[/p]
  • [p]Racers above the cap will be adjusted for the race, but crew bonuses and supercharge abilities remain active.[/p]
  • [p]Level caps are visible in menus and post-race screens.[/p]
  • [p]If players from multiple leagues are matched together, the lowest league cap applies.[/p]

• [p]Improved mission redirection to help you jump straight into the action[/p]
• [p]A free roster of 10 Racers will now be available in Private Track and Local Freeplay, giving all players a chance to test out a variety of characters right away. These features will now unlock automatically after the initial onboarding steps.[/p]

Hiro Hamada, Baymax, and Honey Lemon are revving up their engines to take you on an incredible
race!
Hiro Hamada is a Trickster Class Racer, Baymax is a Brawler Class Racer, and Honey Lemon is a
Trickster Class Racer.

Details of how to unlock each of our 3 racers

• Hiro Hamada will be unlockable via the premium tier of the Golden Pass Part 1*
• Baymax will be unlockable via the premium tier of the Golden Pass Part 2*
• Honey Lemon will be unlockable via the Season Tour Chapter 5 & 6
• Belle will be unlockable via the Season Pass in Part I
• Elsa will be unlockable via the Season Pass in Part II

*Requires Golden Pass Credit or purchase of €9,99/$9.99 or equivalent in local currency

[h2]BIG HERO 6 - INSPIRED RACERS UNIQUE SKILLS[/h2]

[h3]Hiro Hamada – SCIENCE IS COOL[/h3]
• Normal Activation: Activate one of common power-ups for each blueprint stored (5
blueprints = 5 power-ups)
• Charged Activation: Make an invention that gives a short speed boost and permanently
improves top speed of the kart until end of the race.

[h3]Baymax – SATISFIED WITH YOUR CARE[/h3]
• Normal Activation: Fires his fists forward (forward unguided projectile) pushing away any
enemies that the fist is in contact with.
• Charged Activation: Baymax expands his wings, gaining immense speed and invulnerability
for a short duration (boost while still allowing full control over the kart).

[h3]Honey Lemon – ON-THE-GO CHEMISTRY[/h3]
• Normal Activation: Honey Lemon drops multiple of her balls on the field, enemies that
come into contact with them suffer different effects based on the ball they come into
contact with

• Wall of foam (slowdown on hit)
  
• Ice puddle (block steering on hit)
  
• Colourful fog cloud (reduce visibility on hit)

• Charged Activation: Honey Lemon becomes intangible and drops the bag of balls behind.
The bag explodes, obfuscating racers in a big radius.

[h2]NEW CREW MEMBERS[/h2]
A whole new collection of Crew members will also be added to support you during your races, including:

Season 13 brings the new “WELCOME TO SAN FRANSOKYO!” racing environment that includes 7 circuits to discover where players will go through the streets of San Fransokyo, enjoy the Hamada festival and more:

- Street Sprint
- Transpacific Speedway
- Hyper Race
- Boost Oval

FESTIVITY CALENDAR
The Festivity Calendar is a new feature that brings extra daily bonuses. This calendar gives you a chance to grab even more goodies!

Here’s what you need to know:

• You can unlock it at Player Rank 5.
  
• The Calendars can vary in length depending on the occasion. If a Calendar is longer than 7 days, each additional 7th day (usually Sunday) will act as a Milestone, which provides a bonus.
  
• If you miss a day in a Calendar, you will be allowed to progress through the rest of the Calendar. However, you will lose your Login Streak. Skipped Rewards cannot be claimed in some Calendars, but there may be options to purchase it.
  
• Claiming all daily rewards, ensures unlocking the special milestone reward on the 7th day.
  
• You cannot have more than one Calendar available at the same time.
  
• Some Calendars might have some conditions: you might need to have a certain Player Rank or Collection Level in order to see them.
  
• The Daily Reward refresh time is the same for every player.

MULTIPLAYER & ECONOMY EVENTS

We’re also introducing a New Type of Time-Limited Event!

RACER VOICEOVER

RACER BOOST
Racers Frozone, Mrs. Incredible, Violet, Mr. Incredible, Moana, and Maui will now be available to select.

NEW SUPERCHARGE RACERS
Racers Donald Duck, Lilo, Mike Wazowski, Meg, and Jessie will be available to select.

SEASON 13 TOURNAMENT AND VAULT PASS
During Season 13, Tournaments and Vault Passes will become available for Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean.
Tournaments will be available for all 6 Racers Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann, Will Turner, Hector Barbossa, Davy Jones, and Tia Dalma.

UI IMPROVEMENTS

• Visual Improvements have been added to the Diamond Pass Interface.
  
• Some Supercharge Racer UX and UI improvements have been implemented.
  
• Some Instant Max Out UX and UI improvements have been added.
  
• Players will be able to buy Racer and Supercharge Shards directly from the Racer menu.
  
• An in-race progression bar (tracking the Goals) has been added to the Tutorials.
  
• Visual Improvements have been added to the Shop Bundles.
  

GENERAL FIXES & IMPROVEMENTS

• Time Limited Event Global Timer will now reset at a fixed global time each day.
  
• Time Limited Events last for a fixed amount of time but will now be active until completion – this means that the Events will disappear after completion.
  
• Fixed a bug that prompted players to “Claim Offers” without redirecting them to the correct place in the Shop
  
• Various bugs have been fixed in the Onboarding.
  
• Fixed a bug that caused the external controllers not to select the Diamond Pass banner when the players clicked on it.
  
• Fixed a bug that caused the Supercharge VFX to be applied only to the Charged Unique Skills of the Racers. 
  
• Fixed a bug that caused a Supercharge Milestone widget to appear in races where no Milestones were set. 
  
• Fixed a visual bug that caused the Supercharge currency not to updated after being purchased via the “Where to get” button. 
  
• Fixed a visual bug that caused the Supercharge Timer not to update correctly.
  
• Various game crash occurrences fixed across all platforms.
