Update 0.6.2: Investment Improvements
- A new difficulty parameter called "Luck" has been added — if things feel too easy, try again on realistic difficulty and forget about lotteries, expensive gifts from friends, and other freebies.
- Investment projects can now be improved using your contacts — up to three of them will offer suggestions on how to make the project better.
- Investment projects can now come from companies listed on the stock market — the outcome will affect their share price and income.
- Investment projects are now tied to a specific business sector — their results may influence the entire sector.
- Company sectors have been revised — there are now 8 instead of 11 (some were merged).
- If you have an old save file (before version 6.1), you can now optionally create your profile and choose a name, appearance, birthday, and biography elements (though not all perks will be available).
- Companies can now perform stock splits — if the share price becomes too low or too high, they may multiply or divide all shares. The value of one share changes, but the total value does not.
- There’s now a 33% chance that instead of going bankrupt, a company will do a stock split to stay listed longer.
- The average share purchase price is now calculated more accurately (using the moving average method).
- When selling stocks, you’ll now pay tax only on the profit — the difference between your average purchase price and the selling price.
- Car accidents now happen slightly less often.
- Fires will also occur a bit less frequently.
- The Financial Services Agency now does its job a little better.
- The "Fortune Teller" biography now has a slightly lower chance of predicting a bad future.
- Some buttons now support hotkeys.
- Updated Chinese translation by Stevezxc.
- Fixed a bug that miscalculated the income required for the "Successful Leader" milestone.
