Working on the game: small patches

[p]Over the past month, I’ve been pushing a lot of small updates with various fixes. They might not be very noticeable, but the game should be more stable overall now. I’m also actively working on the Story Mode and hope to release the full version of the game with it this summer (I hope).[/p][p]Here are some things that were corrected yesterday and today:[/p]

[p]The Steam Workshop mod uploader is now working properly, so you can try uploading mods again.[/p]
[p]Music no longer stops when leaving menus or saving the game.[/p]
[p]Fixed an issue where first and last names were displayed in the wrong order in some messages.[/p]
[p]Fixed an issue where the character Kobashi Tetsuya’s name was displayed incorrectly in some languages, along with a few other minor bugs related to him.[/p]
[p]Fixed a bug that caused a black screen after interacting with the Yakuza.[/p]

0.8.2 – Christmas Update!

[p]A new Christmas outfit for Amy has been added! To see it, you’ll need to own a company, have a certain level of friendship with Amy, and reach Christmas in-game.[/p]
[p]You can now choose Amy’s default outfit from among the unlocked costumes.[/p]
[p]A festive new Christmas song has been added to karaoke![/p]
[p]Three new Christmas-themed claw machine toys are available during December.[/p]
[p]At the board meeting, the board now assigns you tasks for the upcoming year. Completing these improves your company’s performance and your reputation.[/p]

Bug fixes

- Fixed a bug with opening the event menu when pressing the “H” button in the speech mini-game.
- Fixed a bug that caused some localization strings, including names, to return only English versions.

[p]Message History: You can now review recent messages and your past choices. Super useful if you accidentally skipped something.

[p]In the game settings, you can now filter out certain types of notifications — such as minor news or property events. Great for late-game.

[p]You can now be taken to court for misusing charity foundation funds. Be careful with that money![/p]
[p]Fixed a bug with the slider controls.[/p]
[p]Fixed an issue where deposits weren’t being returned (sorry about that).[/p]
[p]Fixed a bug where you could bypass trading limits on the stock market (yep, that one’s on me).[/p]
