[p][/p][p]Hello Survivors,[/p][p][/p][p]This is the DARKEST DAYS.[/p][p][/p][p]As we have previously done, we compiled a list of questions from the community, along with answers that were shared during a special live broadcast held on August 28th.[/p][p][/p][p]Many questions were asked about the recent updates, as well as future game updates. [/p][p]Please check below for the list of questions and answers.[/p][p]As always, we will do our best to listen to the voices of the survivors to create a more enjoyable game for all![/p][p][/p][p]Q. What was the development intent for Harsh Winter Bielli Island?[/p][p]A. Harsh Winter Bielli Island is currently the most difficult region to date, and party play is recommend for all survivors except maybe the top-tier players. In Harsh Winter Bielli Island, blueprints for SSR equipment can drop, allowing players to collect fragments and craft the equipment themselves.[/p][p]With this region's introduction, the leveling up of your Shelter will also be made easier through this and future updates.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. What is the purpose of existing SSR equipment blueprints (pre-update)?[/p][p]A. We plan to introduce a 1:1 exchange feature for existing completed blueprints, so players can craft the equipment they want. We apologize for not informing everyone of this earlier.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. What is the purpose of introducing party member NPC AI?[/p][p]A. Many survivors requested improvements to the Resident AI, especially regarding unintended aggression from party members.[/p][p]To address this, we added the ability to specify the combat behavior of resident NPCs.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Please review the Survivor Levels[/p][p]A. The new season officially kicked off with a lower difficulty level than the previous one.[/p][p]In the latest season, you can acquire the Racing Suit costume.[/p][p]The team was particularly surprised and grateful to see a player reach level 110, which exceeds our expectations. We considered reaching level 80 already a challenging milestone, so we thank the survivor for achieving level 110.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Can additional survivor level rewards be added?[/p][p]A. Since survivor level reflects combat-oriented growth, we are not planning to add additional stats.[/p][p]However, we are open to discussing more ideas for enhancing or adding honorary rewards in the future.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. What is the Sheltic Bot system?[/p][p]A. We added a “Sheltic Bot” feature to assist new survivors.[/p][p]However, it may not provide correct answers to all questions, but we plan to continually update and expand its knowledge based on common inquiries.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Were equipment drop rates reduced?[/p][p]A. While new items may affect drop rates for existing items, there are no changes that significantly alter gameplay.[/p][p]Our development philosophy is to enhance the fun of farming equipment within the game.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Can vehicles sent on explorations be used?[/p][p]A. In the upcoming October update, all vehicles can be summoned and used regardless of exploration status.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. What was the intent behind the party system improvements?[/p][p]A. We added the ability to create a party and invite others before joining a multiplayer region. Also, additional buffs are provided to encourage party play.[/p][p]Lonetree Tunnel has also been improved to function better with the party system.[/p][p]Players can continue or retry runs more easily after success or failure in Lonetree Tunnel.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Are there any adjustments being made to gun attributes?[/p][p]A. The roadmap initially planned a skill revamp in November, but we feel that the balancing of the guns should be addressed first.[/p][p]Therefore, we will proceed with a rebalancing of the guns before the skill revamp.[/p][p]Updated specs and plans for upcoming updates will be shared soon.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. How is the party distribution calculated?[/p][p]A. Item distribution depends on the region, while experience is calculated by distance traveled.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. The background of Harsh Winter Bielli Island appears foggy[/p][p]A, We will review this internally and improve it as needed.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Twilight Holitore seems to give more XP (than Harsh Winter Bielli Island)[/p][p]A. Harsh Winter Bielli Island provides more XP than Twilight Holitore.[/p][p]Difficulty and hunting conditions will vary, so please consider these factors when trying to level up.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. How is the updated auto-move feature?[/p][p]A. With the auto-move update, the walking seems okay, but driving experience has received negative feedback.[/p][p]We will review this for potential improvements.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Can the hunting ground conflict in Harsh Winter Bielli Island be improved?[/p][p]A. The max player count was reduced to 16 for the region, but we may adjust if survivors still face difficulties.[/p][p]A dynamic conflict system is being considered in which the area is temporarily considered a conflict zone if players continuously interfere with each other when hunting and looting.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Can weapon stats and attributes be shown?[/p][p]A. This will be improved with the upcoming gun attribute updates.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Any plans to improve the Resident Exploration?[/p][p]A. Some reworks are being considered to fix frequent bugs and prevent the monotonous feel of map areas.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. What are the planned updates for October?[/p][p]A. The planned updates are as follows:[/p][p]- Guild Shelter, Guild Conquest, Guild Missions[/p][p]- Halloween season event[/p][p]- SSR firearms: choice of scope or iron sight[/p][p]- Item lock feature[/p][p]- Vehicles sent on exploration can be used[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Can XP be displayed as a percentage?[/p][p]A. We'll take this into consideration.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Can multiple attachments be used per facility?[/p][p]A. Currently, only one attachment per facility is allowed.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Can enhancement and resident exploration be used in multiplayer regions?[/p][p]A. As of now, facilities are intended for use at the player’s own shelter, but we will review potential adjustments.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Upgrade is too difficult. How about having Blessed Upgrade Boxes? [/p][p]A. Discussions are ongoing about preventing level loss during upgrade failures. There is some talk about introducing items to prevent downgrade incase of failure. Although the introduction of such item/system is under discussion, if it is introduced, it will be obtainable from loot or drops rather than as a purchasable item.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Can the Exchange be filtered by level?[/p][p]A. The feature is currently planned but not yet implemented. We apologize for the delay.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Can a hotkey be added to select specific items when opening Rootland boxes?[/p][p]A. We understand the need and will review it.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. A skill preset feature seems to be needed.[/p][p]A. Skill tree presets will be added alongside gun rebalancing in the late November update.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. What is the official release schedule?[/p][p]A. We believe there are still issues and improvements to make before the official release.[/p][p]The release will proceed once current problems are sufficiently addressed.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. The penalties in the Conflict Zones seem to be insufficient.[/p][p]A. When defeated in conflict zones, the result is loss of items. [/p][p]We will consider added rewards for victories as well based on feedback.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Are Lonetree Tunnel rebalancing updates planned?[/p][p]A. Currently, there the top survivors are attempting Stage 30. [/p][p]Adjustments in difficult, first-clear rewards, repeatable rewards, and balancing item acquisition to allow better use of consumables and deployable items. are currently in the works.[/p][p][/p][p]Q. Can the party item distribution for R~SR be adjusted?[/p][p]A.
