After the release of the December 18 patch notes and Developer’s Letter, we carefully reviewed the concerns that were being shared through comments and posts in our communities. Many Survivors expressed worries that the balance adjustments introduced with the update could diminish the value of existing items.
We believe that, in the process of rolling out this update, we did not sufficiently explain the purpose and necessity of the balance adjustments in advance, nor did we properly seek your understanding and input, which likely caused considerable confusion and concern.[/p][p]After listening closely to your feedback, and in order to build DARKEST DAYS together into a game that more Survivors can enjoy, we have revised some of the items included in this update.[/p][p]We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by our shortcomings, and we ask that you please refer to the details below for the specific changes.[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p] [/p][h3]Partial Revisions to Ranged Weapons (Firearms) Rebalance[/h3][p]In this update, some of the changes made to ranged weapons (firearms) have been revised.
→ Balance nerfs applied to firearms have been adjusted to preserve the existing value of each weapon.
→ Balance buffs have been applied to certain less-preferred firearms to strengthen their competitiveness.[/p][p][/p][p]AR (Assault Rifle) Category[/p][p] [/p][p]SMG (Sub Machine Gun) Category[/p][p] [/p][p]SG (Shot Gun) Category[/p][p] [/p][p]DMR (Designated Marksman Rifle) Category[/p][p] [/p][p]SR (Sniper Rifle) Category[/p][p] [/p][p]HG (Hand Gun / Pistol) Category[/p][p]* Information related to G18 has been revised.[/p][p] [/p][p]MG (Machine Gun) Category[/p][p] [/p][hr][/hr][p] [/p][h3]Partial Revisions to Collection Completion Effects[/h3][p][/p][p]Some of the Collection Completion Effects that were scheduled to be updated have been revised.
