Patch 2.3.0

Patch 2.3.0 is now live!

Key feature:
• Multiplayer - added filling lobbies! Now, when players leave the lobby before the start of a Quick Play match, there will be a 3-minute search for new players to fill the vacant places

Fixes:
• Custom Game - fixed the voice lines wheel not working in practice mode
• Akasha - fixed Akasha being able to use Shadow and Eye at the same time
• Survivors - fixed that when a Survivor stood on a prop for a while, they would start falling through the map
• Props - fixed that if a Survivor turned into a long prop while jumping, then half of the prop was stuck in the ceiling
• Props - fixed props sometimes falling through the map when turning into a different prop
• Props - fixed props being able to go through the ceiling and get to the second floor
• School - fixed that some small props could fall under the bleachers in the gym and get stuck
• School - fixed that when turning into a prop, Survivors could get stuck on top of the bookshelves in the library
• School - fixed the pallet prop healing HP when being turned into
• UI Results - fixed that if the Killer left before the end of the match, the results would not be shown at the end
• UI Chat - fixed that if you farted a lot, the text notification in the chat would appear twice
• Minor improvements and fixes to maps, UI, and sounds

Patch 2.2.5

Patch 2.2.5 is now live!

New Content:
• Jun - 2 rare and 2 epic skins have been added to Propbox!
• Legendary Granny skin Challenge - unique banner, avatar and tag have been added, and they will be available to everyone who completed the Challenge

Changes:
• Customization - discount on Jun is over
• Sheet-Man - if Hook deals damage to a prop and the Survivor is knocked down, Hook will not immediately pull them to Sheet-Man
• Impostor - now, when Impostor uses the text chat while disguised as a Survivor, the messages will be sent from Impostor, and not from the Survivor he is disguises as
• Survivors - reduced collision of knocked down Survivors - now Granny’s knife and Sheet-Man’s Hook can go over Survivors who were knocked down
• Survivors - now it is no longer possible to stand on Survivors who were knocked down
• Tools - Tools can now be used during Propmachine repair
• Camp, Abbey, Village - map optimization
• UI Game Results - added new thumbs up sounds in the results window. Also now, when receiving a thumbs up, Survivors will automatically say thank you

Fixes:
• Killers - fixed that if Survivor left the match while the Killer was carrying them on their shoulder, the Killer’s camera would remain in third person
• Granny - fixed third person knife throw animation
• Granny - fixed Granny’s basic skin showing in invisible forms of other skins
• Impostor - fixed Impostor being able to sprint to side while being disguised as a Survivor without spending any stamina
• Akasha - fixed that if Akasha used Shadow after jumping, her hands would be visible in first person
• Props - fixed that if two props jumped on top of each other they could go up
• Survivors - fixed that camera could sometimes remain behind Hypnochair
• Survivors - fixed being able to help a knocked down Survivor get up through walls
• Survivors - fixed that the Survivor who was knocked down near a Propmachine would see a hint to repair
• Jun - fixed Field Trip and City Tour skins having different hands in first person
• Propmachine - fixed that if a Survivor used the First Aid Kit and simultaneously went forward and repaired a Propmachine, the Propmachine would not be repaired, and there would be Reaction check and coins for successful Reaction check
• House - fixed sounds being heard through floors
• Camp - fixed that it was possible to put a Survivor in Hypnochair through gazebo’s wall
• Village - fixed that it was possible to put a Survivor in Hypnochair through fences
• Abbey - fixed that small Props could fly through the windows in the workshop
• MVP - fixed camera shaking sometimes if a Survivor was spectating another Survivor
• Minor improvements and fixes to maps, UI, and sounds

Patch 2.2.4 is now live!

New Content:
• Legendary Granny skin - Witch - that can be obtained by completing a special challenge!

Changes:
• Challenges - added an option to skip a current challenge for 10 Ether
• Challenges - Daily Challenges will no longer show rewards if they have already been completed, as it confused the players
• Challenges - the ‘Prevent a Survivor from being rescued from Hypnochair’ Challenge will no longer appear
• Akasha - reduced Blade Dance dash range by 25%
• Akasha - increased Blade Dance cooldown from 5 to 7 sec
• Sheet-Man - now, when pulling a Survivor or a prop with a Hook, Sheet-Man will sometimes talk
• Sheet-Man - added the sound of Hook returning to his hand
• Sheet-Man - increased Hook cooldown from 5 to 7 sec
• Survivors - added facial expressions animation when being pulled by Sheet-Man’s Hook
• Props - adjusted the second jump’s force, and now you can jump without touching the ground again
• Farm, House, Abbey, Camp, Castle, Village - map optimization
• Tools - Propmachines can now be repaired immediately after using Tools instead of being repaired after the end of the use animation
• Lockpick - now, after getting out of Hypnochair using Lockpick, Survivors will have the same effect of immortality as they have when being rescued by another Survivor
• Whoopee Cushion - now Whoopee Cushion will break if the object it was lying on is moved or broken

Fixes:
• Challenges - fixed that the ‘Stun the Killer with any car prop’ Challenge could only be completed with a red car
• Killers - fixed the incorrect animation of Propmachine breaking interruption
• Granny - fixed that if Granny was stunned exactly when she was setting Mine, the stun would not work correctly
• Impostor - fixed Impostor being able to sprint sideways in Survivor form
• Igor - fixed the sound of Chainsaw Terror activation playing for all players
• Igor - fixed Igor’s sounds being heard through the floor as if he was nearby after using Chainsaw Terror
• Akasha - fixed that if Akasha was stunned exactly at the moment of setting Blood Eye, the stun would not work correctly
• Sheet-Man - fixed Hook not working correctly when pulling Survivors or props if they were close to Sheet-Man
• Sheet-Man - fixed Hook appearing to be behind the prop when pulling it
• Sheet-Man - fixed that if Hook was used to pull a prop which was being straightened up by pressing Shift, the prop would remain straightened
• Sheet-Man - fixed Sheet-Man not being able to be stunned by a Survivor who was downed by Hook before
• Sheet-Man - fixed thrown Poop sometimes not becoming invisible
• Sheet-Man - fixed Jar of Glue not working on Sheet-Man
• Props - fixed that sometimes if a prop was in the air without moving, the prop would freeze in its current position, or the player’s camera would slide down
• Survivors - fixed that if a Survivor stood in the fire for a while, they would receive speed acceleration
• House - fixed Survivors getting stuck between floors when changing from prop form back into human form
• Castle - fixed props being able to sit on top of Closable Doors
• Chest - fixed Chest sometimes not closing after being opened
• Yellow Jar and Jar of Glue - fixed their effect not working on Killers standing close to the walls
• Jar of Glue - fixed that if Jar of Glue was thrown at a Killer exactly when they hit, they would hit twice
• Painkiller - fixed Painkiller’s effect having Energy Drink’s icon and not having localization
• Whoopee Cushion - fixed Whoopee Cushion making the sound twice when thrown, and the throw being weaker
• Exit Doors - fixed Killer being able to pick up a Survivor who was already crawling out of Exit Doors
• Hypnochair - fixed that if a Survivor was put in Hypnochair while they were in the pause menu, upon returning to the game the camera would remain black and white, and the Survivor’s controls would break
• Hypnochair - fixed that sometimes the player’s camera would stay behind a Hypnochair after being rescued
• UI Quick Play - fixed team members not being able to see that a Quick Play search was in progress
• Minor improvements and fixes to gameplay, maps, and sounds

Patch 2.2.3

Patch 2.2.3 is now live!

Changes:
• Igor - Chainsaw Terror ability will no longer be interrupted by Igor’s attacks or stun
• Props - thanks to the community’s feedback, the second jump’s force was reduced to standard
• Props - now when a prop is destroyed (if this prop has stages of destruction), it will not be pushed down to the ground
• Village - added the sound of prop interaction with water
• UI Tab - added an option to view a player’s Steam profile
• UI Lobby - added the name of the current map
• Settings - added an option to adjust the brightness of the game

Fixes:
• Last Survivor - fixed that if 2 Survivors who were in Hypnochairs left the game, then the Last Survivor mode would activate for both remaining Survivors
• Killers - fixed that Killers could be stunned at the last moment of putting a Survivor in a Hypnochair, which led to Survivor’s controls being broken
• Killers - fixed that it was sometimes difficult to hit a prop that was moving fast on the ground
• Killers - fixed some Killer’s weapons not reflecting shadows from the environment
• Impostor - fixed that Impostor could not break glass windows of the Closable Doors in his prop form
• Akasha - fixed Blood Eye being able to be placed out of map’s bounds
• Akasha - fixed that Blood Eye could be used while jumping which also was breaking Akasha’s animation
• Sheet-Man - minor animation updates
• Sheet-Man - fixed Sheet-Man’s model being slightly above the ground
• Props - fixed that if a player jumped on another player who was in prop form, the latter would lose control over the prop
• Props - fixed ‘Use Item’ hint appearing sometimes while turning into a prop
• Props - fixed that long props could act incorrectly while straightening up in a place with little space
• Kate - fixed all Rare Kate skins having broken fingers on their left hand
• Jun - fixed Jun’s voice being quieter than other Survivors’
• Village - map optimization
• Yellow Jar - fixed that sometimes Yellow Jar did not work if thrown at a Killer point-blank
• Painkiller - fixed that if Painkiller was used to heal up to 100 HP it would stop healing even if health decreased again
• Lockpick - fixed that if a Survivor started using Lockpick but died in the process, the kill would not be counted as done by the Killer
• Wooden Barricades - fixed that Wooden Barricades could appear on the MVP screen
• Hypnochair - fixed that if there was an unsuccessful attempt at rescuing a Survivor from a Hypnochair, then upon subsequent attempts to rescue them, there would be a chance that they would get up from the Hypnochair but lose controls after
• Hypnochair - fixed camera sometimes remaining behind a Hypnochair after Survivor was rescued from it
• UI Game Results - fixed the amount of Propcoins earned for Kills not being displayed
• Localization - community-suggested fixes to German, Italian, Dutch, Chinese, Korean and Japanese localization
• Minor fixes and improvements to gameplay, UI, and sounds

Patch 2.2.2

List of changes:
• Killers - fixed that it was difficult to hit Survivors and props in front of you
• Banshee - fixed Banshee’s speed drastically dropping when using Flight
• Impostor - fixed that Impostor’s prop form jump was not updated with Survivors’ prop form jump
• House and Castle - fixed visual bugs
• Hammer - reduced the price from 2000 to 1750, as Hammer was the most rarely bought item
• Hypnochair - fixed that if a Survivor was knocked down at the last moment of rescuing another Survivor from a Hypnochair, the rescued Survivor could not move
• Closable Doors - fixed Closable Pallets having an extremely small stun area for Killers
• Controller - item selection was remapped from direction pad arrows to LB and RB
• Controller - voice lines window is reassigned to the right stick
• UI Customization - fixed character purchase window being able to be opened several times at the same time
• Miscellanous - fixed that the balance of Propcoins and Ether could become lower than 0
• Small fixes to make the game better
