Jeff: Full Dossier



In the previous articles, we talked about the backstory and abilities of Jeffrey J. Jefferson, the first character you will play as during your adventure in Blast Brigade.

Today we would like to form a more complete dossier of this super spy with the help of visuals. Jeff, as you could probably guess, is American. The flag that you can see in the announcement trailer is no mere decoration for him – he is patriotic, proud to serve his country and fight for the world’s peace as a part of B.L.A.S.T. (Battlefield Logistics Advanced Support Team). Though he has many flaws and a carefree attitude, his intentions are quite noble… though maybe untimely.



Coming from a difficult background, Jeff became quite a troublemaker. His love for pyrotechnics and explosions further strayed him from what some may call a righteous path. Jeff considers himself a hero of justice but we secretly believe that he simply uses that as an excuse for blasting things. Speaking of secrets, this hardened hothead actually has a softer side. Jeffrey’s passion is bakery, and he may even be willing to share some recipes if you ask politely!



However, a field agent should also know when it is best to set the politeness aside and set a course for direct confrontation. Jeff has a trusted partner just for such an occasion – and that partner is not shy to go all out. The grenade launcher! Jeffrey is no doubt skilled with various types of weapons but his specialty is definitely the grenade launcher. With its help, Jeff can not only nuke enemies but also create new passages by blasting special doors. Our hero lives by the motto – “if you don’t see a door, build one”. Admittedly, though, he is more of a demolisher than a creator. Nevertheless, to each their own!

Jeff’s Abilities Profile



After investigating the backstory of Jeffrey J. Jefferson, we now know that this agent is somewhat of a dashing trouble-maker with a daring personality, coupled with a carefree attitude and a penchant for explosions. Not that this mischievous assortment of traits makes him any less of a cool spy, of course. On the contrary, he wholeheartedly channels all of his skills to the benefit of the missions assigned by B.L.A.S.T…. with mixed results.



Like other B.L.A.S.T. agents, Jeff is in great physical condition, meaning he can overcome obstacles by jumping, double-jumping, and dashing. He can even hang off walls! Some of these actions, however, require special equipment. With it, Jeff can fully explore levels and navigate his way through platforms with ease to escape from his enemies.

Yet, as you can guess from Jeff’s personality overview, he is not big on escapes and tactical retreats, instead preferring a direct approach and reckless confrontations. Jeff is versatile with many of the weapons present in the game, and he gets a kick out of blasting things. His weapon of choice speaks volumes about the consideration he has for his enemies.



It’s a grenade launcher! A weapon truly befitting the image of B.L.A.S.T.. With this explosive weapon, Jeff fires a shot that follows a unique trajectory, and after a few seconds, the grenade explodes. It’s efficient, flashy, and fun - what more can one ask for?

The grenade launcher also has some tactical use. Jeff can fire it at certain doors to create passages and open up new routes! Like other Blast Brigade heroes, Jeff can use weapons to unlock doors, lower cargo, and bring down elevated platforms by breaking chain links connected to them, allowing him to progress to new levels and hidden areas. Jeff’s an all-round resourceful guy if you wanna stick with him!

Today, we’ll talk about how impossibly and unattainably awesome Jeff, the hero of Blast Brigade vs. The Evil Legion of Dr. Cread, is. We’ll review his cool looks, list of inspiring achievements, and all the attributes that make him a hotshot superspy. Or at least, that’s how it might have gone down if Jeff was the one talking about himself. The reality, however, is far less agreeable.

The only thing that’s remotely true in Jeff’s self-centered testimony is that he makes some things go BOOM, and other things go SQUISH. We must clarify that the things he blows up are not necessarily the ones deemed priority targets by B.L.A.S.T. Coupled with his happy-go lucky attitude, one could see how such developments have been a source of constant headache for the organization.



Jeff’s troublemaking roots run deep. Jeffrey J. Jefferson grew up as an orphan in the Eagletown’s Home for Troubled Boys. His parents were war heroes, missing and presumed dead after their plane was shot down by enemy forces. Bitter and filled with resentment at the world’s injustice, Jeff grew up to be maladjusted and juvenile with an unhealthy obsession with fireworks. The lack of acceptance from his peers only fueled his provocative behavior, paving the way for a potentially spectacular criminal career…

However, when his life was at its lowest, Jeff met a new teacher and a father figure — a retired Army demolitions expert named Major Killshade. His firm but positive influence set the boy on a straight path, and under Killshade’s tutelage, Jeff learned to channel his rage into becoming a patriotic and proud trooper with a penchant for explosions. After becoming the first man to be discharged from the Army for being too awesome (as stated in his discharge papers), Jeff set out on a new career path.



Joining B.L.A.S.T was a dream come true for this overly confident yet naïve rookie. Travelling around the globe on B.L.A.S.T business and expense was a sweet part of the package, too. He had set himself up for a care-free life of blasting his way through enemy forces… or so it seemed.

A few years later, Jeff accepted a mission to find and eliminate a mad scientist on a remote tropical island. Following this lead, he found himself surrounded by Dr. Cread’s henchmen with nothing but his fists, dashing good looks, and a grenade between him and his own survival. That’s where his real story begins…

Introducing the B.L.A.S.T. Organization



Hi, everyone! In our previous article about the world of Blast Brigade, we mentioned the work of BLAST operatives. Today, we want to tell you more about these selfless souls striving to make a positive change in the world.

When police around the world found themselves unable to hold back the criminal tide, a special unit was formed to turn it. Brave, dashing and loyal to a fault – such is the portrait of a typical BLAST agent. And - what’s the word? - ah yes, quirky. BLAST recruits only the best of the best, and these kinds of individuals come with unique skills and quite eccentric personalities. It’s kind of a package deal. The identities of these extraordinary specialists are top secret for the general public, but most people tend to call them… BLAST BRIGADE.



B.L.A.S.T stands for Battlefield Logistics Advanced Support Team. Its main purpose is in combating the forces of the mysterious League that has weaved its evil web across the planet. While on paper B.L.A.S.T reports to the Panatlantic Corporation, it actually answers directly to the world’s secret services.

Wannabe detectives say that the organization’s HQ is hidden inside the massive cave system below a remote island in Hawaii. But considering the fact that the same sources claim it’s also home to a gigantic, criminal-devouring bat, it would be best to take this info with a grain of salt. Regardless, it is believed that dozens of technicians, scientists, and analysts support the daily efforts of BLAST’s field agents, so that the latter can, you know, have a blast.



Ranging from special forces veterans to retired astronauts and explorers, BLAST agents are the world’s strongest guardians who stand against the evil forces – including both ancient terrors and new threats.

That brings us to the self-proclaimed pinnacle of brilliance in Blast Brigade: Jefferson, Jeffrey Jefferson. Or if you want to be precise Jeffrey J. Jefferson. You already met this hotshot superspy in our announcement trailer, but if you haven’t seen it yet, don’t fret. We’ll be spending lots of time with him and his allies in the upcoming campaign against the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread.
