NEW LOCATION: SCREAMING CLIFFS

Venture to the looming precipices of Cread’s island to take down his henchmen by any means necessary!

On the far side of the island lies the Cove, an inaccessible region full of towering, precarious cliffs beaten by strong ocean waves. A long time ago, part of the island was said to have broken off here and sunk below into the watery depths. Traces of the ancient civilization that once lived here remain on the Screaming Cliffs, though Cread’s minions have since made it their home and a base from which to search for the lost underwater ruins.

NEW LOCATION: TEMPLE OF THE SACRED TRIAL

Delve deeper into the island secrets as you enter the The Temple of the Sacred Trial! A stronghold of the Sacred Defenders, this ancient shrine harbors arcane architecture that has remained unchanged for millennia, with its winding passages, puzzles, traps, and ancient guardians serving as a deadly trial for any would-be Champions worthy of wielding the hallowed Chakram.

Should you make it to the large central chamber of the Temple, you will uncover what the Ancients were protecting and find out more about Cread’s true interests in the island...

NEW BOSS: OVERSEER

Donna Smith was once one of the CIA’s rising stars. Despite her young age, her technical ingenuity saw her meteoric rise through the ranks to a position overseeing highly illegal mass global surveillance. When the press caught wind of her department’s activities, her superiors threw her to the wolves as a scapegoat, and she was sentenced to life in prison.

However, she quickly adapted to her new surroundings, broke free, and disappeared without a trace. Disillusioned with the world, she turned her considerable skills to espionage and crime, eventually joining Dr. Cread’s ranks. He granted her cybernetic augmentations to make her one of the most dangerous surveillance experts in the world, and under the villainous new moniker The Overseer, she now monitors all from her flying observation chair. We’d recommend not tangling with this femme fatale, but you won’t have a choice if you want to stop Cread once and for all!

NEW ABILITY: DOUBLE JUMP

A core metroidvania mechanic comes to Blast Brigade! Scale previously unpassable chasms and platforms, conquer new heights, and navigate new areas like the Screaming Cliffs.
