The
2002 Ferrari 575M Maranello came as an upgraded version of the 550 Maranello. Featuring improvements such as a 5.7-liter V12 engine that could produce 508 bhp, bigger brake discs, and an improved weight distribution.

By far one of the biggest technological improvements added to the car was its gearbox. It was mounted in the back of the car to provide smoother and faster gear changes (specially when the car was in Sports Mode). The gearbox also had control over each of the four individual suspensions. This was also the first time an F1-style gearbox was fitted on a V12 road Ferrari.
The bigger engine required minor modifications in the body, which you can clearly spot on the hood which sports a new intake and in the front spoiler as well. Small changes to the car’s finish were also made to improve aerodynamics.
