Greet the season with a double whammy! That’s right, we have two content updates coming up: one before and one after the holiday season.

Starting December 5 and sledding until January 2, your favorite Horizon Festival holiday specials return, but this time dj scratch it’s remix of two in Horizon Holiday Mix-up.



Gear up and start earning points to unlock four new cars available as your Festival Playlist rewards including the luxury cars, wagons, and more!

Two different winter-themed Stadiums will take over during every other week of the Holiday Mix-up. ‘Tis the season of racing!

From January 2 until January 30, flips, turns, and twists take over the Horizon Festival in Extreme Horizon, with the return of a special Stadium from Horizon PR Stunt Party and a new reward car to unlock. For our community’s creators, Extreme Horizon will also bring 4 new EventLab Stubs to build on!

[h2] Release Notes & Game Fixes [/h2]

• The following list details some of the fixes and changes we are implementing with this new update:
  
• Fixed the issue causing backfire to appear on the side of the 1970 GMC Jimmy instead of its back
  
• Fixed the 2022 Cadillac CT5V Blackwing’s roll cage obstructing driver and rear window view
  
• The logo on the 2021 Lamborghini Sian Roadster’s rear wing will no longer appear to be floating
  
• The 2022 Gordon Murray T.50 will now appear under the “European Hypercar” category
  
• Fixed an issue with the “Unbeatable Street Racing” Accolade which didn’t match its menu description
  
• Fixed an issue with the “On The Naughty List” Accolade which sometimes wasn’t unlocking after photographing the 1997 Lamborghini Diablo SV
  
• The 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS now shows the accurate badge on the wheels, and the silhouette displayed on the infotainment screen has been fixed

Usher in the holidays by wearing the Classic Cinema Outfit, which you can earn by completing the “Snow Business” Seasonal Championship during Week 4 of the Festival Playlist.

[h2]The 911 Rallye Takes Over a Showcase Remix [/h2]

The holiday season wouldn’t be complete without a ghost or two: the Horizon Holiday Mix-up welcomes a remixed version of the On a Wing and a Prayer Showcase event: The Flying Deutsch-man. Your goal is to drive a Porsche 911 Rallye across multiple environments during different times of day.

Revisit one of your first adventures at the Horizon Festival on the third week of the Festival Playlist.

[h2]The Stadium Gets Festive in Two Different Styles [/h2]

The Stadium wraps itself in holiday cheer with two different winter-themed transformations taking place during the four winter weeks of the Holiday Remix.



On the first and third weeks of Horizon Holiday Remix, enjoy the snow and decorations of the Winter Wonderland Stadium. Enjoy the view and coziness of candy canes, Christmas trees, and snowmen in this returning Evolving World feature.

You better have your ice skates ready as the Stadium freezes over to welcome the return of the Ice Rink, complete with hockey pucks, lines, and goals during the second and fourth weeks of the update.



[h2]Horizon Extreme (January 2 – 30)[/h2]

After the Horizon Holiday Mix-up ends, the Stadium cleans out the ice and snow and replaces them with the returning Stunt Park.

Visit Stunt Park to find ramps, half-pipes, smashable items, and more extreme additions to perform jumps and flips in the air.



During the first week of the Horizon Extreme Festival Playlist, explore the Stunt Park to find and smash the returning Dinosaur Pinata Collectible!

[h2]A Belated Gift for EventLab Creators[/h2]

The new year brings new ways to create events for the community to share and enjoy. Take your creativity to the limit with four new EventLab Build Stubs scattered throughout the Mexico map, available permanently starting January 2:

• Sierra Verde Build Stub
  

Get a breath of inspiration from these new Stubs and start creating new events!



[h2]What’s Next?[/h2]


This new update brings new events and reward cars, along with the return of the extended night cycle.

A new highly requested feature will also let you set your favorite start screen!

The final 911 in this unique lineup of reward cars might be the ultimate Porsche experience for the road. The 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S is a road and track performer ready to join your garage from November 28 until December 5.

Everything in this car screams “Please take me to the track!”: its new six-cylinder engine, VTG Turbo, 640 bhp, and 0-100 kph time just above 2 seconds. Even more amazing than that, this car still feels like a dream when driving it back to your house after the track day is over.

Destroy a quarter mile race in just 9.9 seconds like a race car with all the inside comfort of a modern sports ride with the Turbo S. Unlock it by completing the “50 Years of Porsche 911 Turbo” Seasonal Championship on the final week of Horizon Track Day.

There’s more to the 911 Turbo S than just driving it. You can also customize it!

11 pieces are available for this car as you unlock it to create a version you want to drive in and out of the track every day.

The list includes:

• 2 side skirts
  

Pieces feature makers such as Brabus, Maxton Design, and Forza.

Just in case you missed them, the 911 Rallye available as Autumn’s reward also comes with plenty customization options to try out!

Three years of live updates and content are easier said than done. Reflecting on our game’s origins and comparing it to its current state, it has evolved into something much bigger than we could have imagined—thanks to you, the Forza community!



We added new game modes, including the recent Hide & Seek and Horizon Test Track, and we introduced two expansions: Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure. We also made multiple quality of life improvements, between EventLab 2.0 and EventLab Island, our enhanced Photo Mode features, and American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) in Horizon Stories. Furthermore, we increased the garage capacity for cars and liveries, and added more cars than we can count – alongside new ways to customize those cars using body kits, rims, and anti-lag turbochargers!



On top of all that, we’ve even introduced new radio stations, clothing items, and player badges; new features like the Horizon Backstage; additional race routes and Midnight Battles; several new Horizon Stories including Donut Media and Drift Club, and a host of Evolving World updates like the Ice Rink, Neon Runway, Stunt Park, Winter Wonderland, Pathfinder Challenges, and many more!



There have also been numerous PC features added post release too, including NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS 3 Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex, AMD FSR, Intel XeSS, TAA, and Ray Tracing for car reflections in gameplay.

However, the most important part of Forza Horizon 5’s adventure through Mexico has been our community. The game would not be where it’s today without the multiple EventLab creations, community builds and liveries, countless photos, and so much more content you have made on your own with the tools we provided. We want to thank you immensely!

Track day gets a whole new meaning with the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 R, the German brand’s latest endurance race car.

Racing runs in this car’s DNA, and it was built to perform in almost any type of event, starting with endurance championships and extending to drag and street racing.

A car with this type of heritage and design philosophy couldn’t fall short in the power department. The 911 R passes the test with flying colors, thanks to its flat-six, 4.2-liter engine that produces 565 bhp.

Optimization did not stop at the engine. Porsche also modified the suspension to improve the driving experience and tire duration. Body modifications improve airflow and downforce. All that’s missing is a driver daring enough to take this car to the limit. If you're ready, you can unlock it for 20 PTS until November 28.

Unlock a 2003 Porsche Carrera GT by completing this week’s The Trail at the Estadio Circuit.

A 2002 Ferrari Enzo Ferrari and a 2022 Cupra UrbanRebel Concept will be available this week at the Forzathon shop. Start earning points and get them before the season ends!

Here are all the challenges you’ll be able to conquer on the Festival Playlist for the next seven days.

Not all tracks are created equally; some of them are filled with dirt and stuff that’s, well, not tarmac. However, you will be pleased to know that your off-roading track day experience won’t be limited to regular roads, as the 2023 Porsche 911 Rallye is now available to unlock until November 21.

Rally isn’t only in this car’s name; you can also find traces of what this 911 was meant to do all over its body. To start, the Rallye’s suspension has been lifted by 2 inches, and an extra 1.2 inches can be added whenever needed. Look at this Porsche’s shoes, and you’ll find a set of Pirelli Scorpion tires built to be used on any terrain.

With the same 3.0-liter flat-six engine that you can find inside a Carrera GTS, the Rallye can reach 100 kph in just over 3 seconds.

With a fantastic engine, all-wheel drive, and a complete off-road package, the Rallye is ready to take on any road imaginable and become a champion.
