Celebrate Three Years of Forza Horizon 5 Updates and Content!

Three years of live updates and content are easier said than done. Reflecting on our game’s origins and comparing it to its current state, it has evolved into something much bigger than we could have imagined—thanks to you, the Forza community!

We added new game modes, including the recent Hide & Seek and Horizon Test Track, and we introduced two expansions: Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure. We also made multiple quality of life improvements, between EventLab 2.0 and EventLab Island, our enhanced Photo Mode features, and American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) in Horizon Stories. Furthermore, we increased the garage capacity for cars and liveries, and added more cars than we can count – alongside new ways to customize those cars using body kits, rims, and anti-lag turbochargers!

On top of all that, we’ve even introduced new radio stations, clothing items, and player badges; new features like the Horizon Backstage; additional race routes and Midnight Battles; several new Horizon Stories including Donut Media and Drift Club, and a host of Evolving World updates like the Ice Rink, Neon Runway, Stunt Park, Winter Wonderland, Pathfinder Challenges, and many more!

There have also been numerous PC features added post release too, including NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution and DLSS 3 Frame Generation, NVIDIA Reflex, AMD FSR, Intel XeSS, TAA, and Ray Tracing for car reflections in gameplay.

However, the most important part of Forza Horizon 5’s adventure through Mexico has been our community. The game would not be where it’s today without the multiple EventLab creations, community builds and liveries, countless photos, and so much more content you have made on your own with the tools we provided. We want to thank you immensely!

To celebrate the journey we have shared, we would like to ask for a small favor: please vote for Forza Horizon 5 in the Labor of Love category for the upcoming Steam Awards

We hope you continue to enjoy playing Forza Horizon 5, creating content for it, and sharing your adventures with our community! ¡Adiós!

The Porsche 911 R is Your New Ally for Endurance Racing.

Track day gets a whole new meaning with the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 R, the German brand’s latest endurance race car.

Racing runs in this car’s DNA, and it was built to perform in almost any type of event, starting with endurance championships and extending to drag and street racing.

A car with this type of heritage and design philosophy couldn’t fall short in the power department. The 911 R passes the test with flying colors, thanks to its flat-six, 4.2-liter engine that produces 565 bhp.

Optimization did not stop at the engine. Porsche also modified the suspension to improve the driving experience and tire duration. Body modifications improve airflow and downforce. All that’s missing is a driver daring enough to take this car to the limit. If you're ready, you can unlock it for 20 PTS until November 28.

Let us know what you’d like to see in Forza Horizon 5 in the future. Send your ideas and suggestions to our team through the Suggestions Hub.

If you into any issue on this update or others in the future, tell us about them on the Troubleshooting Hub

Track Days Include Off-Road, and We Have a Porsche for That Too.

Not all tracks are created equally; some of them are filled with dirt and stuff that’s, well, not tarmac. However, you will be pleased to know that your off-roading track day experience won’t be limited to regular roads, as the 2023 Porsche 911 Rallye is now available to unlock until November 21.

Rally isn’t only in this car’s name; you can also find traces of what this 911 was meant to do all over its body. To start, the Rallye’s suspension has been lifted by 2 inches, and an extra 1.2 inches can be added whenever needed. Look at this Porsche’s shoes, and you’ll find a set of Pirelli Scorpion tires built to be used on any terrain.

With the same 3.0-liter flat-six engine that you can find inside a Carrera GTS, the Rallye can reach 100 kph in just over 3 seconds.

With a fantastic engine, all-wheel drive, and a complete off-road package, the Rallye is ready to take on any road imaginable and become a champion.

Shoot your suggestions to make Forza Horizon 5 the best experience for you at our Suggestions Hub.

Your First Partner for the Ideal Track Day Has Arrived.

Your new best friend for track days is available to unlock. Gather 20 PTS on the Festival Playlist until November 14 to get the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS’s engine running!

The GT3 RS is everything you love about a 911 but kicked up a notch (or maybe two). Packed with a 4-liter six-cylinder engine, it can produce 518 bhp and 342 lb-ft, allowing it to fly to 100 kph in almost 3 seconds.

Engineers behind this project brought ideas from F1 and applied them to this car, which led to improvements such as the 88 lbs of downforce this car makes, as well as the aerodynamic improvements in its body kit and adjustable wing.

Made from lightweight materials from front to back, this Porsche was designed to obliterate tracks with you at the wheel.

If you have any suggestions to make the Forza Horizon 5 experience better than it has been, visit our Suggestions Hub and let us know!

Contact the team on the Troubleshooting Hub if you see any issues with this new update or its features.

More race-y rewards are coming for the next four weeks! Which one are you looking forward to the most?

Coming to your Garage this Month!
Festival Playlist
A track day is not a track day without a speedy companion to rush through corners in, or to floor its gas pedal on straights.

This time, the Festival Playlist reward cars feature a collection of some of the finest, modern Porsches you are going to want to unlock and take on a beautiful tour of every track available at the Horizon Festival.
2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Earn 20 PTS during Week 1 “Summer” Season on the Horizon Track Day Festival Playlist. Available from November 7 until November 14.

The best bits of the 911 cranked up to 11 create a performance focused version of one of the world’s favorite GT racers: the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a superb partner for any track day.

The highly exclusive GT3 RS comes with a 4-liter six-cylinder engine that produces 518 bhp and reaches 100 kph in just beyond 3 seconds. Porsche’s engineering masterminds brought ideas birthed in F1 and other racing divisions into the GT3 RS as seen on the adjustable rear wing and turbo body that allows maximum airflow and 88 pounds more downforce.

Every material found in this car, including the windows, is lightweight and its design with dynamic aerodynamics makes the most out of an already great engine. From its conception, the GT3 RS was built to become the king of the track.
2023 Porsche 911 Rallye
Earn 20 PTS during Week 2 “Autumn” Season on the Horizon Track Day Festival Playlist. Available from November 14 until November 21.

Who said tracks were tarmac only? Not the 2023 Porsche 911 Rallye. This car has all the bits and pieces that make 911s great, and an amazing rally modification package.

The rally modifications start with a new suspension that has been lifted around 2 inches and can be lifted 1.2 more if needed. New Pirelli Scorpion tires were fitted into the Rallye to improve performance on rough terrain and to resist punctures among other inconveniences that arise with off roading adventures.

According to Porsche, this car can reach 100 kph in just over 3 seconds and has a top speed of 241 kph all thanks to a mighty twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine:, the same one you can find on a Carrera GTS.

Nothing makes a track day better than spending quality time with our friend dirt. Unlock the 911 Rallye and take on a wildly different concept of a track!
2023 Porsche 911 GT3 R
Earn 20 PTS during Week 3 “Winter” Season on the Horizon Track Day Festival Playlist. Available from November 21 until November 28.

Who’s ready for some endurance racing? What better way to spend a track day than going round and round the Oval Track Stadium in a car designed to be taken to the limit: the 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 R.

The engine fitted in this car had a growth spurt over the summer and is now a 4.2-liter flat-six, direct injection engine that can put out 565 bhp. To make the most of this engine, Porsche made the car lighter using carbon fiber panels and an aluminum-steel body,; and improved its handling with fifth-generation ABS software, an elevated underbody, and traction control system upgrades.

The GT3 R is not only here to run, but also here to steal the gold, whatever it takes.
2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S
Complete Seasonal Championship “50 Years of Porsche 911 Turbo” during Week 4 “Spring” Season on the Horizon Track Day Festival Playlist. Available from November 28 until December 5

The “Turbo” part in the 2023 Porsche 911 Turbo S’s name is not there just for show. This car can take down a quarter-mile race in just 9.9 seconds, all thanks to a 3.7-liter flat-six engine that can produce 640 horsepower and a fantastic all-wheel drive system that puts every horse to work on each wheel of the car.

As we all know, performance isn’t just about horsepower (although that part is really fun) it is also how good a car can handle around corners, which the Turbo S can do fantastically. Its lower chassis, dampers, and helper springs make driving this car through corners an experience of its own.

It might be packed to the brim with nice seats, connectivity, and more comfort options on its inside, but do not judge this car wrongly, or you might stare at its rear-lights all day on the track.
What’s Next?
The Horizon Festival welcomes the holiday season with Stadium decorations, new reward cars and clothing items, and a special showcase remix!
