Start the New Year with a Hypercar Deal in the Forzathon Shop

Tommy Bargains is celebrating the New Year with some unmissable hypercar deals in the Forzathon Shop happening from 2:30 PM UTC on Dec. 31 until 2:30 PM UTC on Jan 2.

If you’ve been stacking those Forzathon Points, this is the time to log in to Forza Horizon 5 and spend them so you can start the New Year off behind the wheel of an incredible new car.

The high-performance cars on discount include the 2016 Pagani Huayra BC Forza Edition for 200FP, the 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale for 150FP, the 2010 Jaguar C-X75 for 100FP and the 2016 Audi R8 V10 plus for 50FP. That’s a sweet collection of rides right there.

Secret Santa remains active in Forza Horizon 5, so be sure to spread the love. It’s the final week of Horizon Holidays, so give that car via the Forzathon Shop while you have the chance – and be sure to check the Horizon Wonderland in Mulegé in case there’s a present with your name on it.

Ring in the New Year Bells with a V8 Muscle Machine

The New Year is almost upon us – we're counting the days until the firework celebrations – and in Forza Horizon 5, we have a new week of events and rewards, as well as another exclusive Forzathon Shop sale that you don’t want to miss. Before we jump in, remember that you can discuss this week’s events and rewards over on the Forza Forums and we’re always open to your feedback, be sure to share your ideas for future content on the Suggestions Hub.

And what better way to celebrate than with an incredible V8 muscle machine. This week you can unlock the 1970 AMC Rebel 'The Machine' with its flamboyant red, white, and blue paint scheme that made as much of a statement as its 340-horsepower V8. From the factory this Rebel was poised as a street legal drag race car and could run mid-14s in the quarter mile, while the distinctive ram-air hood scoop and hood-mounted tachometer contributed to its performance-minded attitude.

By earning 20 PTS on this week’s Festival Playlist, you can expand your garage with this delightfully different muscle car from AMC, a manufacturer notorious for taking on the big three in its own way with performance that could give the big boys a run for their money. Now you can prove that it’s the definitive pony car in Forza Horizon 5 – see you at the drag strip!

As a reminder, this week is your last chance to participate in our Monthly Rivals and Forza EV events, as well as unlock the overall Horizon Holidays series rewards. You have until Thursday, January 5 to get your hands on these cars, as well as the rewards discussed in this blog:
  • 80 PTS: 2022 Extreme E #22 JBXE
  • 160 PTS: 2014 Ferrari California T

Here’s a look at the new cars for this week:
  • 20 PTS: 1970 AMC Rebel 'The Machine'
  • 40 PTS: 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 by Gunther Werks
Flex those muscles with the most powerful muscle car in production, the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon. Purpose-built for drag racing with a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 under the hood, the 840 horses are certain to get you across every finish line faster than your competitors will realize. It’s also rare too, with only 3,300 ever produced. Celebrate this iconic car that harkens back to the legendary pony days in the Weekly Forzathon Challenge.

Where to spend those Forzathon Points, you ask? The Forzathon Shop of course! Look out for the 2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster and the 2015 Mercedes-Benz #24 Tankpool24 Racing Truck, as well as the Green Suit Outfit, the Yellow Sundress and the Clock Tower car horn.

Ring in the New Year with an exclusive Forzathon Shop sale available from 2:30 PM UTC on Dec. 31 until 2:30 PM UTC on Jan 2. The high-performance cars on discount include the 2016 Pagani Huayra BC Forza Edition, the 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale, the 2010 Jaguar C-X75 and the 2016 Audi R8 V10 plus. Don’t miss out!

It’s a Holiday Rush in The Trial this week, so you better overtake those Drivatars to make it home in time for the New Year festivities and of course, unlock a shiny 2015 Audi TTS Coupé on your travels.

We 3 Kings come together for Seasonal Playground Games exclusively featuring Team King. Your participation will be rewarded with the 2008 BMW Z4 M Coupe.

Three Super Wheelspins await in this week’s Seasonal PR Stunts. Take on the Heights of Mulegé Danger Sign, the La Subida Speed Zone and the Sand and Deliver Trailblazer. As always, Hot Wheels Park has a fourth to complete with another Super Wheelspin up for grabs in the Ice Crash Danger Sign.

Expand your garage with three new cars courtesy of Seasonal Championships. Get the 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in Feliz Navidad, the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V in New Beginnings and the 2017 Jaguar F-PACE S in Down for the Countdown. You can also obtain the 2018 Mercedes-Benz X-Class from By The Fire over on Hot Wheels Park.

Horizon Tour is back on the Festival Playlist, so team up with your friends and the community for a road-trip across Mexico.

It’s Photo Challenge time! This week, you’re tasked to photograph the Snowman at the Buena Esperanza Player House near Ek' Balam to unlock the Sad Snowman Head for your wardrobe.

Lastly, the Horizon Super7 is featuring the 2016 Formula Drift #530 HSV Maloo Gen-F as a reward for those who successfully take on all seven Challenge Cards!

That’s it for Horizon Holidays. We wish you all a happy and safe New Year! Enjoy the celebrations and we’ll see you in 2023 for the next Forza Horizon 5 series, #FORDzathon. Remember, there won’t be a content update to download for this one as all the necessary reward cars and events were included in the previous update. With that said, thanks for your continued support and we’ll see you in Mexico!
