Inside Depth 6 News

Inside Depth 6 is fast approaching!

Hello, everybody; I hope you are all safe, well, and prepared for Inside Depth 6!

I wanted to let you all know that Depth 6 less than 24 hours away from release date, and that it is officially 100% complete and ready for some gameplays!

I am very excited to see as many gameplays as I can, to see your reactions, and to see which paths you end up taking. Inside Depth 6 offers many mysteries and secrets to solve alongside a dark and mysterious storyline. Be sure to keep a watchful eye for items to interact with, and hidden paths to uncover or explore.

As always, as with any horror game, here are some fine practices to get the most out of Inside Depth 6:
- Use earphones or headphones while Playing Inside Depth 6,
- Be sure to crank the volume up to a reasonable amount to immerse yourself into all of the 3D audio,
- Play alone and in the dark if possible,
- and definitely full-screen the game for that nice cinema experience :)

For all of the ultra high-end computers out there, if you are pumping out 61 or more FPS, consider enabling V-SYNC in settings to keep your GPU nice and cool and to prevent any screen tearing/jittering. An FPS option is also available in options if you like keeping an eye on your FPS. Plus, it looks cool, regardless, on the left side of the camera interface (a win - win) :)

I look forward to watching your gameplays and reading your reviews for Inside Depth 6, so please, if you are able, leave a review of the game once you have finished the game. All reviews help me gage the audience interest, they help me uncover areas of the game that may require some improvement, or areas of the game that you consider amazing! All of this information is always put to good use in the next upcoming game.

As for upcoming games, my next goal is to get better at game development. In other words, I will be spending a few weeks learning new methods of code, touching VR, and learning how to achieve better, more realistic graphics / visuals while maintaining an optimized game. Of course, I hope to add new mechanics, new systems, and new ways to engage the player. Time will tell what happens next, but I have high hopes going forward.

Cheers, everybody, and please stay safe!
Depth 6 will be released on March 12, 10:00 AM PST and 11:00 AM Mountain Time

Inside Depth 6 is coming soon!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all doing well.

I wanted to let everyone here know that Inside Depth 6's Steam page is now LIVE! After many months of development, I am very happy to say that the game is almost finished and ready to provide you all with some long awaited spooks.

I have learned a lot from Suite 776 and lots of the feedback received. I have taking this feedback very seriously and have applied the following to Inside Depth 6:
- Multiple endings,
- A random variant system (some events will trigger differently for everybody),
- Longer gameplay and a stronger focus on story,
- Significantly more exploration relative to Suite 776,
- More secrets and optional puzzles to take part in,
- and of course, an Easter egg; who doesn't love a little bit of Easter egg love?

So what are my plans once Inside Depth 6 is released?
Once Inside Depth 6 is fully live, I intend to push out a couple of updates to the game within 1-2 months time. This is to scrub a couple of triggers, add a couple of additional areas to explore and a few additional scares.

Most of my time after launch will be focused on research. Due to Covid, I am focusing full time on Game development and Youtube, so this will allow me to focus on researching areas of game development like advanced AI, animations, and most importantly, for me, it gives me time to finally look into virtual reality (VR). It has been a long-awaited dream of mine to delve into some VR development, so now with all of this extra time to focus on game dev, I can allocate a lot of resources to VR research, And who knows, maybe I will be able to add VR support to Inside Depth 6 and Suite 776 within the next several months.

Another area of importance for me is to research controller support and localization. I know that controller support and a lack of additional languages is a major negative to my titles, so I hope to implement some form of controller support and localization in the future - please bear with me on that! :)

So as always, I wish you all a safe and enjoyable 2021, happy gaming, stay safe, and I look forward to hearing from you all once Inside Depth 6 has been released March 12!

Please feel free to provide some of your thoughts in the comments below :)
