RIPOUT: New Beginning Update OUT NOW + Free Weekend

Hello, fellow mutants,
Ripout’s fourth Major Content Update is here!

With this update, we are bringing you a revised tutorial and introducing a new AI companion, a new enemy, and many more improvements to quality of life and content. And if you’re still on the fence, RIPOUT will have a free weekend from 10am PST on April 5th to 10am PST on April 8th, so make sure you check out the game if you haven’t already!

Tutorial

Learn the basics in the new fully updated and expanded tutorial.
The story of the tutorial is expanded to help you understand the start of your journey towards the Sanctuary as well as new tips and mechanics that you will learn to be prepared for any situation that will come your way.





Cynthia - AI Companion

Say hello to your new state-of-the-art Synthetic mind pal, Cynthia. She will guide you through your journey to finding Sanctuary.



New Enemy - Leaper

Introducing Leaper - a smaller, fireball-blasting enemy that can swarm you with its unpredictable movement.





New Sidearm - Missile Pistol

Added to the pool of sidearms we are introducing a new sidearm, Missile Pistol.
This sidearm will send rapid-fire explosive projectiles toward targets.





New Destructible - Blockade Doors

New destructible doors are added to the game. They will occasionally block your path toward progression or the vault rooms.



Additional
  • We have reconfigured enemies with the ability to jump! Now all enemies can jump to and from any platform and level
  • Vaulting is improved and new animations have been added for each enemy
  • Pet pathfinding is been reworked so pets will find the most optimal path to the target
  • Price Balance of all schematics
  • The Flamethrower is reworked and new balancing is done for the weapon
  • A new platforming task and level have been added
  • Sessions update - now players can change their session type from within the session options while in the active session
  • Robots can now be attacked with Pet
  • All players will receive quick notifications when crafting components are picked up during the mission

  • Fixed an issue of enemies not being in the same place while in nests for Client and Server
  • Fixed an issue for modules disappearing when the pet is recoiled right before the module is retrieved
  • Fixed an issue with the turret switching targets
  • Fixed an issue where some turrets were invisible to Clients
  • Fixed an issue with Enemies' behaviour getting paused making the enemies not move
  • Fixed an issue with Pet getting stuck on Player after throwing it towards the target
  • Fixed an issue with the Pet scan switching between targets in the scan too fast making the targeting unreliable


[h2]Minor Bug Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue with camera pitch limits after the player is resurrected
  • Fixed an issue with the quick spinning of the Armed Bandit machine not providing items
  • Fixed an issue where Clients will see the Enemy drop just by looking at the enemy before killing it
  • Fixed an issue with weapon sound attenuation
  • Fixed an issue with the Pet turret not firing when thrown for the first time
  • Fixed an issue with the Pet turret fire effect not being shown when Pet is firing from specific angels
  • Fixed an issue with Swarmer not seeing the player when both are next to the edge of vaulting windows

Hotfix Patch Notes 0.195.10

Hello, fellow mutants,
we have a small hotfix update for you today, addressing some critical issues:

  • Fixed an issue with infinite loading on some missions
  • Fixed an issue with players getting a Fatal error after completing the mission
  • Fixed an issue with players getting a Fatal error when entering hub ship after completing a mission or jumping to a new sector
  • Fixed an issue with Full Metal Jacket achievement not being triggered

Hotfix Patch Notes 0.194.01



Hello, fellow mutants,
we have a small hotfix update for you today, addressing some issues that were detected since the last Major update:

  • Fixed an issue with clients crashing in the Hubship after a completed or failed mission
  • Nerfed the Bulwark's health and damage
  • Fixed an issue with players being locked due to enemies not dropping task targets
  • Added option for players to kick spectating players that joined their ongoing mission
  • Fixed an issue with the revive icon being shown in compass even tho none of the players is available for the revive
  • Fixed an issue with camera offset when going to third-person perspective while in ADS

The third Major Content Update for Ripout is here!
We are bringing you a new Enemy, a new Mission type, a new Sidearm, and much more

Here are all the things that have been added with this update.

New Enemy - Bulwark

Introducing Bulwark - a new impenetrable, minigun-wielding enemy type that will have you running for cover.





New Missions - Recycler

A new mission type with new levels is added to the game.

Clear up corrupted bio canisters fed into the recycler. If you are unsuccessful, the recycler will explode and your mission will fail.







New Sidearm - Buckshot

Buckshot sidearm is added to the game - a close-range sidearm with bigger damage output the closer you are to the target.







Additional
  • New enhancement pet buffs - Ammo feed and Module Scrap
  • Optimization of the current systems and features
  • Sound improvement
  • New weapon fire animations
  • New destructible station terminal

Major Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a crash for the Client when joining the session while the Host was using a Pet scan
  • Fixed a crash for the Client when joining the Hubship after completing the mission
  • Fixed an issue with Pet scan not working after the player targets the same enemy or critter for the second time
  • Fixed an issue with enemies going into an infinite loop and not being able to attack the player
  • Fixed an issue where players who join ongoing sessions are not able to use the escape menu
  • Fixed an issue where a Heavy enemy corpse will sometimes deal damage to the player if the player is close to it
  • Fixed an issue with the loading screen appearing for the second time after players are already in the Hubship
  • Expanded the pool of what is included in the tech and bio scan
  • Fixed an issue with Soldiers losing aggro


Minor Bug Fixes
  • Fixed an issue with enemies that get hacked in the middle of a charge attack and stop attacking enemies
  • Fixed an issue with critters not jumping from some edges
  • Fixed an issue with a Soldier spawning close to the barrel and making his movement unnatural and stiff
  • Fixed an issue with bio and tech scan duration
  • Fixed an issue with Swarmers that are colliding with the terrain
  • Fixed an issue with Swarmers targeting player
  • Fixed an issue with the Zombie attack sound being played on the player

Hotfix Patch Notes 0.191.03

Hello, fellow mutants,

Due to critical issues reported from our last two patches, we are updating the game with a small hotfix.
Here is what has been addressed:

  • Fixed a fatal error crash connected to enemies and a pet turret
  • Fixed an issue with Modulator enemies not dying and their models being left in the levels
  • Fixed an issue with some tasks not having the enemy task target spawn and blocking the players from proceeding
  • Fixed an issue with Tasks repeating multiple times in the single Mission
