Diluvian Winds 1.0 is launching on April 25th!

*Expeditions: Sending Travelers to regions of the world to collect resources, research, or artifacts.
*Artifacts: Powerful consumables that the player can use at various points in the game.

  • We added a new chapter about merchants
  • Travelers come with a new request : Trade with merchants
  • New merchant-related parameters added to sandbox mode
  • Merchants can take part in events
  • Leveling up a merchant guild will be notified with new feedback
  • Added some sound feedback in the trading screen
  • Merchant bodies are now correctly displayed when climbing a ladder
  • Merchants now correctly take place at the meal with the other travelers

  • We added a warning that shows when you confirm the fire phase when the fire is out and you still have fuel
  • Improved the visibility of the guardian comment when changing the fire level
  • Fire level and alert are now correctly displayed when opening the trading screen

  • Stools shall now correctly disappear after the meal


[h3]Net[/h3]
  • A new HUD element shows the net current level and its state
  • The net visual will now change depending on his level

  • Inputs displayed on the camera controls tutorial are now white instead of brown
  • Fixed an issue when the help screen is stuck

  • The new save button triggers only one sound instead of two
  • You can't overwrite auto-saves anymore
  • You can now delete saves when one of them is open in the system


[h3]Options[/h3]
  • Master volume is now at 50% by default
  • Improved the system language detection when resetting the options to default

  • Moving rooms will be available when starting a game from Chapter 0
  • Added sounds to the buttons
  • Chapter 5 last objective is now : “Empty the merchant stock.”
  • Chapter 4 :
  • Dally’s body does not disappear when going to sleep
  • Dally’s hat does not change randomly during the chapter

  • Parameters label does not take two lines anymore to display

🦝 The Merchant Update is here!

Diluvian Winds’ second major update is here!

In this update, we've introduced a brand-new addition to the game: the Merchants. These adorable yet fearless adventurers sail the seas to engage in trade. Despite their friendly appearance, don't underestimate their business acumen – they are shrewd entrepreneurs!

THE MERCHANTS

The Merchants are brave travelers who traverse the world in their boats.
They offer to trade goods with the lighthouse in return for a place to dock for a few days.



They organize themselves into guilds, and each guild specializes in specific types of goods. You can enhance your relationship with a particular guild by trading with its affiliated merchants. This will unlock more trade options, sales, and even gifts along the way.




CHANGES AND BUG FIXES

Travelers

  • Travelers can now move rooms. Doing it counts as an action for the day (like producing resources) and has a cost.
  • A colored cover appears when using some actions on rooms (Blue : Reinforce, White : Move, Red : Clear)
  • Improved traveler’s pathfinding
  • Clearing debris won’t make the game crash in some situations
  • The traveler’s card will now show the correct survival way

Save
  • Replaced current auto-save with one auto-save per game mode


Photo Mode
  • Added an option to hide Characters


Environment
  • Added new sounds
  • Added new visual details and animations


Title Screen and Main Menu
  • The Lighthouse now reflects your progression through the chapters
  • The pop-in appearing when trying to access Sandbox Mode and Scoring Mode before doing Story Mode now opens the correct Mode when clicking on Continue


Help Menu
  • Fixed the scrollbar’s behavior in some edge cases
  • The bottom bar should not appear anymore during events

  • The bottom bar should not appear anymore during events
