Hello!
This is Wonder Potion.
Hope everyone’s having a great time with SANABI.
We’re back with a short, but sweet devlog.
Based on the roadmap we shared last time, today’s devlog will have a deeper dive into each contents that are planned.
(*Following contents are currently wip and can be a subject to change)

Current Development[/h2]
1. Chapter 4 : The top level of Mago
The one-of-a-kind skyscraper, this is Mago’s top level.
Literally a palace for the board members, investors, and those who proved they are “elegant” enough to join the most prestigious group.

All the paperworks, the process itself that takes over a year that needs just to visit the top level, and the distance itself have been the biggest complaints among the middle class.
But this never has been a problem for the Mago company. After all, the top level is only for the ‘selected’ people.

And there…at the fanciest place that waits for the player, were the most unexpected things.
2. New Ability : DashCharacter’s new ability that’s available at Ch.4

Even when the player’s not holding onto something by the chain arm, they can still go to any direction freely by dashing. This would help to sort out the maze-like map, but it might not be the most needed skill for the players who already came all the way to Chapter 4.
But then again, the true power of dash can be felt when used during the battle

By dashing, players can defeat the heavily armed monsters or push them with the mighty force to the opposite direction.
They won’t have a chance to stop you when you’re dashing!
3. Improving the aiming system asks the player for precise aiming within a few seconds and because of this, the game recommends the keyboard & mouse for the best experience.
Even with this in mind, we noticed through the valuable feedback from our early access players, that the game’s environment for playing with the controller wasn’t good enough.
Now that we confirmed our release on Switch, there needs to be a fundamental improvement on this system and not only just having a larger hitbox.

This is our improved aiming system.
1. It automatically finds ‘the objects that can be grabbed’ within a specific angle
2. Among the objects, it shoots the grappling hook to the most prioritized one
3. If there are more than one prioritized object, it will go for the closest one that is at the aiming direction
Based on this improvement, we plan to find the best aiming system that reflects the intention of the player's control.
The Switch version is also currently under development.
