Motorcycle Mechanic Simulator 2021: Prologue News

Hey Bikers!
Again, we would like to thank you for all your comments and feedback. The goal of the prologue from the beginning was to uncover bugs, explore the flow of functionality, and gather expectations from players. So remember to join our discord, we'd love to hear more of your suggestions and comments.

Today we are releasing a new patch. Here is what you can expect:

• We changed the flow of UI and tablet. Now you don't have to click every time through every app and shop. Now if you press TAB, it will save the last state and ESC will go back to the previous app/tablet view.
  
• We changed some flow of inventory, now when you select the part for painting, balancing, etc, you don't have to click accept. Everything is smoother and faster.
  
• We adjusted the lengths of some animations in UI so it's smoother and faster
  
• We added more red outlines and hints while disassembling
  
• We added the "bucket paint" feature to the paint table, you can now paint the whole part with one click
  
• We added multi sell feature to inventory, you can now select multiple parts and sell them in one click
  
• We changed some backend asset flow, so the game has better RAM performance now
  

Fixes:

• We fixed an issue where fork legs were mounted in the air in Falcon
  
• We fixed an issue where the rim was not mounted with a tire in Falcon
  
• We fixed an issue where splash screen error caused people to have an infinite loading screen
  
• We fixed an issue, where sometimes a level was not loaded properly
  
• Fixed some issues with audio balancing
  
• Fixed an issue where sometimes photo mode filters were not working properly
  
• Fixed some issues with shop categories
  
• Fixed some issues with modern rims not showing properly in machines
  

We are investigating an issue where some people cannot open the game at all. It has something to do with graphics compatibility. We made some changes to this build, so it could be fixed but we need your feedback so we can do some more testing.

We are also working on some optimization issues, some people encounter heavy lag spikes while looking at motorcycles.

we are working hard on fixing some bugs and adding some features to our prologue! Be sure to check them out!

- We added some additional white outline to small parts that you need to mount on your motorcycle
- We added some more red outline to small parts while disassembling
- We fixed some issues with displaying motorcycle during the test drive
- We fixed some issues with forks and displaying parts
- We fixed some issues with handlebars displaying wrong
- We fixed issues with some textures
- We changed driver animations while riding a dirt bike
- Some tutorial parts now shine to give some hints
- We blocked a photo mode during working with a motorcycle
- We fixed issues with a flashlight
- We added a simple shopping list feature. You can now add missing parts to a shopping list. Find those parts in Motorcycle Status and click a little note icon next to the part name. This is a simple feature just to give you hints on what to buy, we will expand on it later on.
- We fixed an issue where liquids were resetting after driving a bike
- We fixed some issues with liquids and quests
- We fixed an issue where the engine cover was blocking the mounting of some smaller parts in a dirt bike
- We added some small changes to the driving scene
- We fixed some issues with the photo mode during driving

• Paint table fix when clicking reset button caused deleting all paintings from mounted motorcycle parts (after disassembling and assembling them - paint comes back)
