Survive the Fall News

Survivors,

Last week we were finally able to share Survive the Fall with you. The project that we've been working on for four years. In the meantime, a few days have passed, and you've asked us lots of questions, inundated us with feedback and told us what's perhaps not going so well - and we'd like to thank you very much for that! Rest assured that we read every post and every review from you and take them to heart, even if we may not (be able to) reply to every single one.

You've shared over 140 positive reviews with us, spent over 5 hours in the game on an average, and peaked with 1,400 CCU (Concurrent Users). Also, over 5,800 are actively playing on a daily basis at the moment.

That's really, really great, and we're endlessly grateful for this. Honestly, it’s thanks to this amazing community — seriously one of the best — that we’re able to keep pushing the game forward.

Of course, you are now curious about the next steps we are planning for Survive the Fall and what is still to come. We are already working on the first big update, which we hope to be able to share with you soon - we still have to test it, of course, to make sure that nothing breaks during the update. This means we can't give you an estimate of when we'll release this update, but be sure we're doing everything we can to get it out as soon as possible.





We can give you a rough idea of the content and improvements already, though. We'll go into more detail once the update is available. :)

• Level 2 and 3 structures in the camp will have 2 and 3 places for trinkets.
  
• The navigation of characters will be fixed on all maps.
  
• Characters were able to fall through the terrain in some locations - this will be fixed.
  
• A lot of possible issues with crashes will be fixed.
  
• The break-up rate for structures will be adjusted - they will take 2–3 times longer to break (depending on the structure).
  
• Warehouse sizes for multiple resources will be increased.
  
• Default storage size for water, materials and fuel will be increased.
  
• The backpack size for starting characters on expeditions will be increased.
  
• Camp structures will need less resources.
  
• ...and many more fixes and adjustments!

It's hard to put into words what this moment means for us. Survive the Fall started as a dream four years ago - just ideas scribbled on napkins, late-night calls, over-caffeinated weekends, and a shared passion to build something meaningful. We were a small team, but we believed in what we were creating.

We poured everything we had into this game - our time, our skills our frustrations, our joy.

And now, that world we imagined is real.
You can walk through it. Fight in it. Enjoy it.

How you play Survive the Fall is entirely up to you.

Want to spend days exploring the wilds, piecing together the world's mysteries? Go for it.
Prefer to settle down in your camp, carefully planning your next move while trying to stay alive one more night? That's valid too.
We designed this game to give you the freedom to shape your own path - and live (or die) by your choices.

And yes, we were ambitious.
Survive the Fall is not a "small indie game".
Despite our team size, we've built something big - a game that, according to our tester and early Community players, takes between 50 and 100 hours just to complete the storyline.

Lots of quests, and a great story to discover.
One camp to expand and three diverse maps to explore.
