Dear travelers of the otherworld,

The year is soon coming to an end. The Award season has started. And you can also vote for the Steam Awards now. And yes, of course, we'd be happy if you would vote for Drova. We know, our chances are obviously limited with so many great games releasing this year but hey, we also don't know the Steam metrics for whom will win in the end.

However, we wanted to use this post in first place to thank you. Honestly, without this amazing community, without you, this journey wouldn't have been possible. As you know, we're not done with Drova just yet. There are two major Updates in the works. And also, this wouldn't be possible without all of you.

The games industry these days is in a horrible shape, ruined often by greedy CEOs on the backs of talented people which get fired in the end for not meeting unrealistic expectations. Those people would love to keep supporting their games, nearly all developers want to do that. We love games as much as you do, it is not just a job for us. But in a lot of cases the support can't be offered due to a game not doing well enough or because other things are deemed more profitable.

Luckily the indie game scene continues to grow and many studios can create games that don’t try to appeal to everyone, but offer unique experiences that take you and your time seriously - however niche they might be. That was our dream here at Just2D. Develop the kind of games that we think are missing in today's market and reach the people that feel similarly to create a community. A celtic village that stands strong against every storm. Drova would never have reached its full potential without you! Even in these troubling times, we are excited to keep working together with you. To create games that matter to all of us.

Just something we wanted to say. And now: Go. Support some amazing games here on Steam and vote for them in the Steam Awards and maybe do that for games which don't have a chance anyways cause they do need every support they can get.

Hotfix 1.1.2 is live!

Hello,

we fixed another few bugs for you!

  • Fixed NPCs spawning next to you when entering a cave
  • Fixed that you can buy the relict from boris again
  • Fixed some tooltip ui issues
  • Fixed some typos in the journal
  • Fixed that some npcs were marked as dead in the npc overview but they were alive
  • Fixed dissappearing weapon during breakout with Baltus
  • Fixed softlock with Teigen in chapter 2 when not doing the fast travel questline in chapter 1

Hotfix 1.1.1 is live!

Hello,

two critical issues got into the patch and are fixed now.

  • Fixed a narrow path underground where you wasn't able to get through.
  • Key Bindings have always been reset on game start

Just a remember if you encounter any issue you can report it with F2 ingame.

Feedback Patch Version 1.1 is OUT NOW!

Dear travelers of the Otherworld!

We’re happy to announce that we just released Content Patch Version 1.1! Since the release of the game we’ve been collecting and evaluating your feedback and build this version solely based on it. It was a super intense and exciting month for us - and at the same time we’re now curious how you’ll like it.

We've also prepared a six minute long Update video. Keep in mind the video is in German but of course we've got English subtitles!

Sadly we had some hiccups with our Loca Studio regarding timings which is why the French localization will be updated on Monday. However, so you can continue playing in French, we’ve built in a placeholder translation for now. So please don’t be confused if things may sound a bit weird for now, everyone is working hard to get that fixed asap. Sorry for the slight delay here.

We also have a small surprise for the Christmas season which we’ll announce tomorrow in our Discord!

We’d be happy to get some feedback from ya’ll and wish you a pleasant journey through Drova. May the Bygones guide your way.

  • Surprise Attack now quadruples chance to land a critical hit instead of adding 25%
  • Poised Tip now only has a chance of 50% to poison instead of poisoning 100% of the time
  • Pierce focus cost reduced from 70 to 60
  • Firecry base damage per tick reduced from 150 to 120
  • Reduced damage of spear secondary attack but generates focus now
  • Focus Catcher talisman triggers a bit later to avoid activations even when canceling spells

We have just released patch version 1.0.7. This contains various bug fixes, which you can read about below.

We are currently busy testing patch 1.1, which we will release next week. We've tried our best to get your feedback in 3 weeks of development and are very excited to hear what you think.
