We are excited to announce a new patch for Alterium Shift!

Here are the details of the update:

  • Enhanced Burst ability for characters
  • New overworld map with quest markers
  • Improved character on-map abilities

  • Improved controller support
  • New visual effects
  • New cinematic and story sequences
  • New persistent-save “Echo Shift” feature with special gates and chests
  • New boss battles
  • New side-quest content

[h2]Known Issues[/h2]
  • Pyra test day battle has occasional slowdowns in performance
  • Paralyze effect in battle lasts too long
  • Dolion “Meteor” burst ability animation only plays the first time
    • Damage is still dealt to monsters as expected
  • World Map (opened using M or the menu / select button on the controller)
    • Sometimes this can be opened at the wrong time causing issues.
  • Shift portal (glowing orb) sometimes appears in the corner of maps
  • Buried Temple visual oddities
  • Buried Temple B1 challenges high-level of difficulty
  • Minor sound effect issues (missing or repeating sounds)
  • Some maps in Endless Dunes have known performance issues and can be slow to load at times
