[h3]Welcome to the First Edition of the DAM Classics![/h3][p]In this new Community segment, we highlight some of the old winners of the DAM Challenge and briefly go over what made them special at the time. [/p][p]This month's feature is the Winner of the 2023 "Feast" DAM Challenge:[/p][hr][/hr]
[/p][p]The creator used a mixture of terrain brush splashes to make the paths feel more well-trodden. They also mixed and matched flooring types in the tavern's main hall, including a stone hearth with a hand-placed stone border, which really helps it stand out. [/p][p][/p][p]Lastly, they used the Steam Workshop to download horses and placed them in the stables, making the map feel more lively.[/p][p][/p][p]3,079 Alchemists have recognised Adrian's work, and so do we! The Minstrel's Feast Tavern
[p]The tavern, nestled on the edge of an enchanting forest, boasts a grand hall filled with ample seating for weary travelers. A serene fishing pond lies nearby, while small stables offer rest for their mounts. In the heart of the woods, a stage awaits performers, all wrapped in a warm, cozy ambiance that beckons to all.[/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Our community member Adrian put in the work at a time when Dungeon Alchemist was not as feature-rich as it is now, including some neat tricks to bring this map to life.[/p][p]This map is a legacy build, meaning it lacks multi-levels, roofing, and abstract lighting. [/p][p]
