Rolling Shadow Skill, Deadly Bunny, Frenzied Relics & Run Stats!

[p]Hey Fellow Primates!

Dunjungle Version 0.92 is LIVE! Thanks for all the love – now grab your loot and dive in. What's New:

[h3]New - Skill:[/h3]
- Rolling Shadow: Roll forward, becoming immune for the duration of the attack, and dealing damage to enemies in your path.

[h3]New - Enemy:[/h3]
- Did you find the diamond bunny yet? Did you slay it, grabbed the loot, and moved on without consequences? Well we're just gonna say that maybe next time it won't be so easy ;)

[h3]New - Rooms:[/h3]
- Added a slight chance for rooms with powerful monsters from the deepest areas of the game to appear in early biomes as minibosses (the chance increases in higher difficulties)

[h3]New - Relics:[/h3]
- Banana Earring: Consuming Food while you're at Max Health will create an Energy Coat that absorbs 90% of the next hit you take. Avant-garde monkey fashion!
- Spiked Root: Rooted enemies will take 20% more Damage. Don't put it in your pocket! It stings.
- Ring of Frenzy: Attack Speed +100%, but Max Health -50%. Only for reckless button mashers.

[h3]New - Run Stats:[/h3]
- Wonder how much time you have spent exploring the dungeons? How many bosses you defeated perhaps? You can now find Stats in the Hub!

Critical Mac Save Fix, Gameplay Tweaks & Relic Rebalance!

[p]Hey Fellow Primates![/p][p]First and foremost – we've urgently addressed the save file issue on Mac. Don't worry, your progress was never deleted! After updating to v0.91, affected players will be able to recover their saves. This update also includes important gameplay adjustments and relic balancing...[/p][p][/p][p]Dunjungle Early Access v0.91 - Patch Notes[/p][h3]Fixes:[/h3][p]
- Fixed critical issue for Mac players that made their save file go missing (related to Unity changing it's default save data path)[/p][h3]
General Tweaks:[/h3][p]
- Player movement: Changes in the Sprint action. Now if you quickly turn around while sprinting, you will keep running on all fours. Also, attacking won't end your sprinting if you keep pressing the directional button.
- Baby Monkey Coin now has a UI indicator to let you know if you have Revives left.
- When you have an active Energy Coat, your Health Bar turns blue to indicate this.
- Updated Joystick button icons for better readability
- Added gamepad support for Stadia Controller
- Switch Pro Controller: Fixed Submit and Cancel buttons (they were inverted)[/p][h3]
Relic Balance:[/h3][p]
- Idols: Buffed Stat gain (from 10% to 15%)
- Relics that auto-cast spell on melee changed to auto-cast on main weapon attack (so now it works with non-melee main weapons)[/p][p]

New Spirit Blade, Meta Upgrades & Relics!

Thanks for your overwhelming love for Dunjungle. Version 0.9 is out now! How's everyone finding the new class and weapon from the last update? This time, we’ve brought you new meta-progression upgrades, along with another new weapon and new Relics!

[/p][h3]New Relic:[/h3][p]Magic Fang: When you grab this relic, Lifesteal effect will be triggered from all your sources of damage, instead of Melee only.

[/p][h3]New Weapon:[/h3][p]Spirit Blade: Ethereal blade with a soul of its own. Slice through enemies without interrupting your movement.
[/p][h3]Meta-Progression: [/h3][p]- Monkey Bros can now appear at the Hub (with new upgrades!) [/p][p]- Old Explorer can now appear at the Hub (and it looks like he discovered a new hobby)[/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]General Tweaks:[/h3][p]- Minecart hazards: Damage box takes longer to activate, to avoid damaging the player if the minecart spawns very close to them.[/p][p]- Warp portal won't appear on top of loot.[/p][p]- Burn Status Effect: Minimum damage dealt by a single burn stack was increased to 10.[/p][p]- Boss Fights: Changed screen white flash into a less intense purple flash, to avoid discomfort.[/p][p]- Disabled Pause during tutorial end scene, and baby monkey pet scene.[/p][p]- Disabled "climb ledge" animation for platforms, to favor smoothness of movements and game flow.[/p][p]- Reduced "climb ledge" animation time.[/p][p]- Energy Coat: If you finish an area with an active Energy Coat, it will keep protecting you in the next area.

An OP New Class with a New Mysterious Weapon!

Hey Fellow Primates!

How has everyone been experiencing the recent upgrades and updates since the baby monkey's perks & permanent progression? The little ones are now quite useful! This time, we’ve brought a new class and a new weapon!

[h3]New Class:[/h3]

PYRO MONKEY:
Unleash the power of fire!
Less proficient at dealing direct damage, but over-compensates by BURNING IT ALL

[h3]New Weapons:[/h3]

Monkey Buster: Mysterious technology! Shoots lemon-shaped energy projectiles.

[h3]General Tweaks:[/h3]
- Added more Area Layouts to all Dungeons (there were 12 variations, now there are 20!)
- Changed Megaphone effect (baby mascots will attack with your attack, not your interact button)
- Vampire Class: Added a brief immunity period after bat form ends
- Power Up Mode Alternative: Gather 3 to receive a Bonus Stat choice (but the choices you get are much bigger now!)
- Ape Amulet changes: Now it heals a flat amount, rendering it more useful to heal at early game and for classes with low hp
- Bonus Stats Cap is now marked with a color when you reach the maximum number for a Bonus Stat.
- Base Max HP is now 1000, upgradable to 1200 for the basic class.
- A Warp Portal will appear when you beat all enemies in the area, teleporting you directly to the Exit Doors
- Jump Height: Base jump height is now higher
- Heal effect descriptions now consider the Hard and Extra Hard difficulty debuff

[h3]Meta-progression perks:[/h3]
- New unlock: Re-Roll Power Up choices
- New unlock: Re-Roll Ape Amulet Upgrade choices
- Doctor Revive: Starts reviving at 10% hp, unlock more levels to increase the %

[h3]Bug fixes:[/h3]
- Poison Egg damage is now properly counted as Artifact Damage
- Pendant of Pain: Now description is correct, instead of adding 100% damage, it doubles all damage output after all other calculations are done
- Vampire Class Bat Form was getting damage in some cases where it was supposed to be immune to it

BABY MONKEY PERKS & PERMANENT PROGRESSION Now Live!

Hey Fellow Primates!

We hope you’ve been digging the Abandoned Tunnels and experimenting with our nutty new Engineer Monkey class! Let us know your feedback! But that's not it—today’s update is all about your tiny companions. Yes, the forever loyal Baby Monkeys!

In the past months, many of you requested a progression system for these adorable critters, and TODAY It is the time to once again SAY HELLO TO YOUR LITTLE FRIEND!

[h2]NEW SYSTEM: BABY MONKEY METAPROGRESSION![/h2]

- Level up your Baby Monkeys at the Hub!
Rescue a new Baby Monkey, then find them chilling at the bottom-right corner of the Hub. Each now grants unique perks while in your party!

- Boost their power with Banana Gems!
Spend those shiny pink gems to enhance their buffs further. Pro tip: Feed them well, and they’ll carry you to victory!


[h2]NEW RELICS[/h2]

Baby Monkey Coin
Whenever your Health reaches 0, instead of dying, a Baby Monkey will heal you and then leave you for the rest of the run.

Megaphone
Make some monkey noises (interact button) to Command your Baby Monkeys. They will immediately execute an attack, skipping the cooldown.

[h3]TWEAKS & POLISH[/h3]
  • Ape Amulet charge: The damage needed to charge the amulet will now increase per biome (previously it was increased per amount of enemies killed across the run).
  • Patapez Enemy Attack: Reduced the collider's active frame time
  • Meta Currency used for permanent upgrades are now Banana Gems
  • Biomes: For new players to access the alternative biomes, they first have to complete their counterpart
  • Biomes: Now you can access the Abandoned Tunnels via The Crypt (after the beating the boss, of course)
  • Bosses: Buffed Ant Queen and Sap Queen max health
  • Lucky Charm Relic: Buffed chances of survival (20% -> 25%)
  • Ghost Monkey Class: Nerfed Magic Damage Bonus (50% -> 30%). Reduced Immunity Frames in higher difficulties (was 180 frames in all difficulties, now is 180/135/90).
  • Difficulty: Reduced the damage and health of the enemies in the first biome.

[h3]BUG FIXES[/h3]

- Fixed very rare game crashing bug related to the skill "Meteor"
