A NEW CLASS, A NEW WEAPON, MORE RELIC SLOTS, AND NERF BAT FOR KING FROGUS!

Thank you for the overwhelming support and feedback! We’ve carefully reviewed your suggestions, and this patch addresses several gameplay improvements, while introducing some VERY EXCITING new stuff coming into the game - and that is only a beginning!

[h3]New Class: Master Dog![/h3]
  • Love summoning creatures? With Master Dog, you can focus your build around Summons and Familiars, unleashing their full potential!


[h3]New Weapon: Magic Staff![/h3]
  • Thought Sorcerer Frog’s early game was a bit slow? Not anymore! The new Magic Staff, unlockable for any class, is now Sorcerer Frog's starting weapon.


[h3]King Frogus Nerf:[/h3]
  • King Frogus has been weakened, now spawning with reduced Max Health (-15%).


[h3]Relics:[/h3]
  • Expanded Relic inventory slots from 20 to 28.


[h3]Bug Fixes:[/h3]
  • Relic “Bottled Lightning” no longer triggers when your own summons fade.

Bug fixes:
  • Bug Fixed: Dungeon generator - In rare occasions, the game offered you an unintended choice of doors that could result in a black screen if the player went through.
  • Bug Fixed: Camera might not follow the protagonist if a certain boss was killed at the very left border.
  • Bug Fixed: End game rewards were overlapping with other texts after the credits.

Dunjungle Roadmap: Exciting Updates Ahead!

Fellow Primates!🐒

We’re thrilled to share our roadmap for upcoming updates to Dunjungle! We’ve been listening to your feedback and are committed to enhancing your adventure with a host of new features and content. Here’s what you can look forward to:

[h3]More Weapon Types⚔️[/h3]
To make each adventure more thrilling, we’ll be introducing additional primary and secondary weapons for players to unlock. Expect a mix of powerful weapons and those with fun, unique mechanics that will add variety and depth to your gameplay experience.

[h3]More Relics💎[/h3]
We’re designing a wider array of relics to cater to different build preferences. These new relics will not only facilitate the assembly of powerful builds but also encourage players to explore creative strategies, making each playthrough unique.

[h3]More Classes👗[/h3]
In addition to the three current classes, we’re hard at work creating new, powerful, and adorable costumes! Stay tuned for some exciting reveals coming VERY SOON!

[h3]New Maps🗺️[/h3]
We’re planning to design and develop many more distinct levels for players to tackle. These new maps will feature diverse landscapes, unique enemies, and challenging bosses to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.

[h3]New Bosses🦹[/h3]
In addition to the new bosses that will appear on upcoming maps, we’ll be adding more bosses to existing levels. This will further enhance the game’s variety and depth, offering new challenges for seasoned players.

[h3]New Functional Rooms🏰[/h3]
Get ready for new functional rooms with corresponding NPCs during your adventures! These will provide additional opportunities to adjust your build, including options to upgrade weapon rarity and re-roll weapon stats.

[h3]Compendium + Bestiary!📖🐉[/h3]
We’ll be adding a compendium and a bestiary, allowing players to track all the weapons, relics, enemies, and bosses they’ve encountered on their journey. This will help you keep track of your adventures and aim for completion!

Early Access Patch Note V0.1.2

Fellow Primates,

Thanks a lot for your timely feedback across different channels; we have taken action to address some of your concerns and suggestions!

Please find the following updates to Dunjungle in this patch.

[h3]Additional Balance/Difficulty Tweaks[/h3]
  • Expanded the Liana (Whip) hitbox - now it hits enemies that are close to the player-controlled character;
  • Increased the default jump height of the player slightly;
  • Slightly increased the hitbox length of all primary weapons;
  • Tutorial - Fight sequence: Reduced the frequency of enemies spawning, and made the combat area bigger;
  • Reduced the number of enemies spawned in the Easy Combat Rooms in the first biome - Jungle;
  • Added a projectile attack to the Necromancer enemy in the second biome - Crypt;
  • Added more zombie monkeys in the Idol Room in second biome - Crypt;


[h3]Enhanced "Revive" Mechanism[/h3]
  • Revive: Added shockwaves that knock enemies back at the timing of Revive
  • Revive: Enhanced the visual effects of reviving - Now it's super obvious!
  • Revive: Difficulty healing debuff won't affect Revive's health recovery
  • Revive: Added a GUI indicator when Revive is unlocked and available


[h3]Some Other Important Bug Fixes![/h3]
  • Monkey respawn scene: Reduced duration
  • Added Celebratory Message when you beat the game in the Extra Hard difficulty
  • After clearing Hard difficulties, player is now correctly returned to the Hub, not the Main Menu (there's still content to discover!)
  • Added an outline to the Shaman Baboon in the first room of the run to make it stand out more
  • Pacifist Achievement: Only the damage made by the player will be taken into account for the achievement
  • Added a Skip button to the Credits scene after you have seen it for the first time

Reducing the overall difficulty a bit! - Early Access Patch Note V0.1.1

Thanks a lot for your timely feedback across different channels; we have taken action to address some of your concerns and suggestions!

Please find the following updates to Dunjungle in this patch, mainly focused on balance adjustments!


  • Added a few immunity frames after receiving damage (Normal Difficulty Only);
  • Reduced overall damage of enemies in the first biome;
  • Reduced frequency of mushroom poison spores damage output from every 0.2 to every 0.5 seconds;
  • Reduced frequency of salamander fire damage output from every 0.2 to every 0.5 seconds;
  • Increased height of hitbox for horizontally-hitting weapons;
  • Snake venom - effect "movement confusion" removed from Normal Difficulty;
  • Snake venom - enemy kill requirement reduced in lower difficulty (Normal: 10, Hard: 15, ExtraHard: 20);
  • Buffed Relic "Truce Treaty"'s bonus immunity time period (20 frames -> 40 frames);
  • Buffed Relic "Pet Collar“‘'s Summon Lifetime (50% -> 100%);
  • Bug fixes: A bug preventing Summons from disappearing after certain time;
  • Bug fixes: A bug preventing Interacting with some NPCs when mapping B (or Circle/A) button to the Interact Action.
