Console Version Goes Live at 15:00 UTC Today!

The next chapter in the Spirit of the Island adventure is about to begin. Console versions of the game with a full Cross-Play support will be available today at 15:00 UTC/08:00AM PST.

[h2]A small reminder about Cross-Play and how it works[/h2]
With Cross-Play, you will be able to play the coop mode of Spirit of the Island with all your friends, regardless of the platform (PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch). You don't need to do anything special to enable this mode on consoles, but on PC there are some steps that need to be done before you can play with consoles.
Please note that this is temporary until console edition gets all updates.
1. Right click on Spirit of the Island in your Steam library.
- If you are playing on GOG, then go to game settings and untick "DLC"
- For EGS, you just need to launch basic Spirit of the Island game in your library.
2. Go to "Properties"
3. Go to "DLC" section.
4. Disable all DLCs.
5. Launch your game.
6. Before starting a new save, make sure to untick "use DLC save" checkbox.
7. Proceed to play!
[h2]Why you can't use DLCs for now? [/h2]
To release console version faster, we had to exclude DLCs and other updates. Please rest assured that all content will arrive not long after the release, together with the new story. Adventureland will arrive as a separate paid DLC, just like on PC.
