Anode Heart 2 announcement!

It's official! Anode Heart is getting a mainline sequel! ːsteamhappyː

The spinoff I'm currently working on, Layer Null, will still take development priority, but once that's wrapped up, I'm committing myself 100% to AH:2.

Like the first game, the sequel will be a monster tamer game, and it will be set a bit further into the future, after certain.. world-changing events. Battles will be expanded into a 3v3/4v4 system, with influences from tactics RPGs and classic monster taming games. You can expect at least a 120+ new Tama, and 20-30 fan favorite returners from the first game. Check out the full info and the teaser trailer on its Steam page!

New Anode Heart game; [Layer Null] page is Live!

Hello everyone,

I've been working on this for about 4 months now and I can finally officially announce it.
[Anode Heart: Layer Null] is the next game in the Anode Heart Universe!

[Layer Null] is a standalone card battler RPG, based on the card minigame from the first Anode Heart game. It's set in the same universe, but on a completely new Layer of the A:H world, with new maps, mechanics, story, characters and villains. This game will serve as a bridge to the Sequel, that will take place on the far side of Zearth, shortly after the ending of the first game.



It's not yet fully confirmed, but I'm most likely planning to release the first third of [Layer Null] into Early Access towards the end of this year. This would be a complete, fully functioning first third of the content (open for re-balancing and quality of life changes). More info on this and the release will come a bit later.

v1.1.3 tiny tweaks patch

Hello everyone,

A tiny tweaks and improvements patch, v1.1.3 is up and running. Let me know if you encounter any issues.

Patch notes:
- Added sorting options for owned cards
- Tweaked quests that require Tama to look at both active and benched parties
- Added a hint in Connor's dialogue to visit the Control Room
- Added a more accessible bank terminal in the Mansion

As outlined in the previous patch notes, I'm now developing a (semi-)sequel card game Anode Heart project. It's on the verge of becoming a presentable entity, so I'm planning on publishing a Steam page for it towards the end of July/early August.

v1.1.2 patch + roadmap

Hello everyone,

Aside from a few smaller bug fixes, v1.1.2 brings a new Gameplay Settings tab with options for Wild Tama/Trainers/Bosses level scaling and a new "Auto-Potential" option, which auto-converts any Potential you get on level up or evolution into Stat points.

With v1.1.2 done, I will continue to focus on the next project, the Tama card game! (and Spanish translation for Anode Heart in parallel) The card game will be a shorter project - a side game to play while the Sequel is developed. I'm building the card game with PvP support in mind, so online play with friends and tournaments are a potential thing, but it will still primarily be an offline experience. More news on that next month.

v1.1.1 tiny patch

A tiny patch for v1.1

Changelog:
* Fixed the reboot screen bug
* Changed Devibom to evolve via an item instead of by level

Devibom item can be found in Memory Meadow and Bugman shops (post Rain City). If the item is not there, wait an in-game day for shops to refresh.
