One Way Road: Firehunt. Introducing the prologue.

As a prologue to the main story, Firehunt serves as an important narrative component of the game. You will meet the main characters, experience all gameplay mechanics, and receive a small bonus upon completion!

However, before we get into the details, let's check out the prologue gameplay trailer.

Now, for more details:

- The prologue will consist of 5 levels. A total of 4 main levels are included, as well as 1 bonus level that is optional for completion. Completing bonus missions in the full version of the game, will affect the plot and ending.

- The prologue will include all gameplay mechanics, such as:

Scroll Shooter - one of the fundamental mechanics of the game. As a commander, you will be in charge of a space fleet heavy cruiser. Depending on the situation, you may have to fight numerous enemies, face up to a boss, or navigate through dangerous space sectors.



Top down Shooter - you'll take the wheel of a small and agile assault fighter instead of the cumbersome cruiser. Faster gameplay requires lightning-fast reactions.



Tube Shooter - Engage in third-person view pursuits that will see you shooting down both small ships and impressive cruisers, destroying their engines, weapons, and other main systems along the way.



- As you progress through the story, your goal will sometimes depend on which ship you choose to use, the cruiser or the fighter. Thus, you'll be able to switch between Scroll Shooter, Top Down Shooter, or Tube Shooter.



- Leveling system that is divided into three blocks:
  • With the help of auxiliary systems improvement, you will be able to strengthen the hull of your cruiser; increase the maximum energy or shield reserve, as well as improve the auxiliary turret and stationary drones, which operate automatically.
  • The Hangar gives you the ability to create and improve unmanned fighters in various ways, from decreasing the time it takes for new fighters to be created, to unlocking new and deadly models.
  • The Armory allows you to upgrade your cruiser's main guns - the Blaster, Big Bertha, and Shotgun. Unlock burst projectiles or increase the fire rate. Alternatively, you can simply increase damage.

Leveling is practically unlimited, but since each level can only be completed once, experience gained for leveling up can only be obtained once as well, it won't be possible to access all upgrades during the prologue. Moreover, new weapons and perks are unlocked later in the story, after the prologue is completed.

- The prologue's progress is carried over to the main game automatically.

As a reward for completing the prologue, you'll receive a unique weapon for your cruiser in the main game. Be sure to check what's inside this glowing box!
